Muslims help perform last rites of Pandit in IIOJK

Srinagar, March 21 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, in a classic case of bonhomie, the Muslim neighborhood in Ganderbal helped perform last rites of an elderly Kashmiri Pandit.

Reports said that soon after the news about demise of one Radha Krishna (80), from Pandit community residing at Kangan, broke out, many people majority of which included Muslims visited the bereaved family.

The neighborhood members joined the family to perform last rites on the deceased even as many women could also be seen extending their condolences on the demise of the elderly person.

It is pertinent to mention that there have been several instances across length and breadth of Kashmir wherein the Muslims have helped Pandits on different fronts.
