IIOJK people facing Indian atrocities for last 72 years: Majeed Mir

Islamabad, March 21 (KM): Vice Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Mass Movement (JKMM), Abdul Majeed Mir has said that Kashmiri people have been facing the Indian atrocities in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir for the past 72 years.

Abdul Majeed Mir in a statement issued in Islamabad said that India would have to suffer from a shameful defeat in Kashmir and history was a witness to the fact that freedom movements could not be suppressed by use of brute force. »

Muslims help perform last rites of Pandit in IIOJK

Srinagar, March 21 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, in a classic case of bonhomie, the Muslim neighborhood in Ganderbal helped perform last rites of an elderly Kashmiri Pandit.

Reports said that soon after the news about demise of one Radha Krishna (80), from Pandit community residing at Kangan, broke out, many people majority of which included Muslims visited the bereaved family. »

Demand to probe Chattisinghpora massacre by impartial body

Srinagar, March 21 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Chairman of International Forum For Justice and Human Rights Jammu and Kashmir, Muhammad Ahsan Untoo has demanded probe into Chattisinghpora massacre by an impartial body and punishment to the people involved in the heinous crime.

Muhammad Ahsan Untoo in a statement issued in Srinagar on the anniversary of the Chattisinghpora carnage said that twenty-one years ago the innocent members of Sikh community were killed when the then US President, Bill Clinton was visiting India. The massacre was carried out to mislead the international community about the Kashmir movement and link it to terrorism, he added. »

Road to peace in South Asia passes through Kashmir: Mehbooba

 Srinagar, March 21 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) President, Mehbooba Mufti has said that the road to peace in South Asia passes through Kashmir.

Mehbooba Mufti addressing a gathering of party workers in Kulgam said that any renewed thaw in the relationships of India and Pakistan was subservient to the progress made towards addressing the long-pending political and democratic demands of the people of Kashmir. »
