Srinagar, March 25 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chief, Mehbooba Mufti, was questioned by India’s Enforcement Directorate (ED) for several hours, today, in connection with a money laundering case.

Mehbooba Mufti was quizzed by the ED at its office at Rajbagh in Srinagar for more than five hours.

Mehbooba Mufti talking to reporters after appearing before the probe agency said while dissent has been criminalized, the Indian agencies like the NIA, CBI and the ED were being “misused” to silence the opposition. »

Srinagar, March 25 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, senior Hurriyat leader, Professor Abdul Ghani Butt, has said that amicable resolution of the Kashmir dispute is vital for peace and prosperity in the region.

Abdul Ghani Butt addressing a meeting at Wazirbagh in Srinagar welcomed the peace gestures shown by Pakistan and India. However, he said, the core issue of Kashmir between the two countries is pivotal and needs to be resolved through a sustained dialogue process. »

ImageIslamabad, March 25 (KMS): India has repeatedly interfered in the internal affairs of Sri Lanka and used Tamils to start rebellion against Colombo in the name of a separate homeland.

A report released by Kashmir Media Service said that India ignored the efforts undertaken by the Sri Lankan government for the rights of Tamil people living in Sri Lanka. It said, New Delhi forced an agreement upon Colombo in 1987 under which it sent its troops to Sri Lanka. It pointed out that New Delhi used its pawn Velupillai Prabhakaran, the leader of Tamil Tigers, to cause death and destruction in Lanka. »

Security Forces Injure Citizens in Srinagar Attacks - The New York TimesSrinagar, March 25 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, thee Indian troops were killed and several others injured in an attack in Srinagar, today.

Unidentified gunmen fired upon a party of Indian Central Reserve Police Force in Lawaypora area of Srinagar resulting in the killing of three troops and injuring of several others sustained.

Immediately after the attack, Indian troops and police personnel cordoned off the area and launched searches to nab the attackers.

Srinagar, March 25 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the General Secretary of All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC), Molvi Bashir Ahmed has said that India is employing brutal and oppressive measures to intimidate the Kashmiri people and force them to stop pursuing their freedom struggle.

Molvi Bashir Ahmed in a statement issued in Srinagar said that freedom-loving people of Kashmir were passing through the most critical phase of their history as Indian forces had let loose a reign of terror in every nook and corner of the territory. »

Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).

A video of the act was viral on social media wherein the RSS goon, identified as Ajay Goswami, is seen thrashing a man and forcing him to chant anti-Pakistan and pro-India slogans. »

Jammu, March 25 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, APHC leader and the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Social Peace Forum, Devinder Singh Behl has said that Kashmir dispute is not a matter of a particular religion or sect but it is an issue of all Kashmiris including Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs and Pandits.

Devinder Singh Behl addressing a gathering and media representatives in Kalakot area of Rajouri district of Jammu region during the awareness campaign said that the Kashmiri people wanted a political solution to the lingering Kashmir dispute in accordance with the United Nations resolutions. »

Srinagar, March 25 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, APHC leader and the Chairman Democratic Political Movement (DPM), Khawaja Firdous, has praised the Pakistan President, Dr Arif Alvi for reaffirming support to the Kashmir cause.

President Arif Alvi in his address during the Pakistan Day parade in Islamabad said, Pakistan stands by the people of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir in their just struggle for securing their right to self-determination and will not abandon them. »

Islamabad, March 25 (KMS): Voicing serious concerns over the human rights situation in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), President Dr. Arif Alvi Thursday said the resolution of Kashmir dispute is imperative for ensuring peace in the South Asia.

Addressing the military parade at the Parade Avenue in Islamabad, he said the entire Pakistani nation stands by their Kashmiri brothers and sisters in this hour of trial. He said Kashmir is a jugular vein of Pakistan and we will continue to raise their voice at all forums. Islamabad, March 25 (KMS): Minister for Human Rights Dr Shireen Mazari has said Pakistan intended to initiate dialogues with India to resolve lingering Kashmir dispute.

Talking to a private news channel, she said the issue must be sort out through dialogues between the two nuclear powers as peace of the entire region is interlinked with it.

The Minister said Pakistan’s friendly countries always desire to resolve all outstanding issues with India including Kashmir conflict. »
