Srinagar, March 28 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism, martyred two Kashmiri youth in Shopian district.

The troops martyred the youth during a siege and search operation in Wangam area of the district.

The operation was started in the area by a joint team of Indian Police, Army’s 34RR and CRPF Saturday evening. An Indian soldier was also killed and two others were injured in the area.

The military operation was going on when the last reports came in.

Srinagar, March 27 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Tehreek-e-Wahdat-e-Islami (TWI) has launched a mass contact campaign to inform the Kashmiris about Indian conspiracies.

The TWI in a statement issued in Srinagar said that in connection with the campaign, a session was arranged in Bandipora district.

General Secretary of the organization, Fayyaz Ahmed, Chief Organizer, Ali Muhammad, Bandipora district President, Iqbal Hussain, a cleric Molvi Bashir-ul-Islam and local people attended the meeting. »

Srinagar, March 27 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League (JKPL) has said that understanding between Pakistan and India to adhere to ceasefire on the Line of Control and the subsequent statements and actions indicate a positive shift in the relations between the two neighbours.

The JKPL leaders, Ahmed Molvi and Muhammad Amir, addressing public meetings in South Kashmir said that their party was ready to extend full support to all initiatives between the two countries aimed at bringing peace in the region and seeking a peaceful resolution of the Kashmir dispute. »

Srinagar, March 27 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the National Conference Vice President, Omar Abdullah, welcoming the peace overtures between India and Pakistan, said the two countries must move beyond secret talks and have an open dialogue to resolve all issues including Kashmir.

Omar Abdullah, speaking to reporters on the sidelines of a party function in Pulwama district said, his party has always maintained that the betterment of not only Kashmir, but the whole of South Asia lies in the friendship between the two countries. »

Srinagar, March 27 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian troops conducted cordon and search operations in Kupwara and Kulgam districts, subjecting the local residents to harassment and intimidation.

The troops cordoned off Span Yaroo area of Handwara in Kupwara district of North Kashmir, causing huge inconvenience to the locals. The troops conducted door to door searches during the operation. »

Srinagar, March 27 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the High Court Bar Association (HCBA), today, observed 25th martyrdom anniversary of Advocate Jalil Ahmed Andrabi.

Jalil Ahmad Andrabi was arrested in broad daylight by men in uniform in March 1996 and then was tortured to death in custody. »

Srinagar, March 27 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, unrelenting military siege imposed by Narendra Modi-led fascist Indian government on August 05, 2019, continues to take a heavy toll on daily life of the people in the territory.

A report released by the Research Section of Kashmir Media Service on the completion of 600 days (almost 20 months) to the military siege, today, revealed that Indian troops martyred 323 Kashmiris including 7 women during the period. It said that most of the victims were killed by the troops in fake encounters and in extra-judicial manner in the garb of so-called cordon and search operations. »
