Srinagar, March 29 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) has said that the ongoing freedom movement in Kashmir is an indigenous movement and is deep-rooted in hearts of the people.

The APHC Working Vice Chairman, Ghulam Ahmad Gulzar in statement issued in Srinagar praised the people’s unwavering commitment and their precious sacrifices for the sacred cause of freedom and said, the people of Kashmir have defeated time and again the nefarious designs of Modi-led fascist Indian government to divide the people in the name of religion, sectarianism or regionalism. »

Srinagar, March 29 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, a counciller associated with Bharatiya Janata Party along with his police guard was killed in an attack in Sopore, today.

Councillor Riyaz Ahmad and his security officer were killed in the attack near Lone Building in Sopore while another person was injured who has been shifted to Srinagar. »

Srinagar, March 29 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) man, who was injured during an attack in Lawaypora, Srinagar, succumbed to his injuries on Monday at Soura Institute of Medical Sciences, taking the toll of slain CRPF men to three.

Quoting officials the media reported that the CRPF man, identified as Jagernath Roy, who was admitted in Soura IMS, Srinagar, has succumbed to his injuries. »

Srinagar, March 29 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, senior Hurriyat leader Ghulam Muhammad Khan Sopori has strongly condemned the continued house arrest of veteran Hurriyat leader Syed Ali Gilani for the past 11 years, saying his political, religious and even private activities are completely banned.

Khan Sopori in a statement issued in Srinagar said that Syed Ali Gilani was being deprived of important religious duties such as Friday prayers and is not allowed to visit mosques for daily prayers for the past many years. He said that the veteran leader has been held hostage at gunpoint and is not allowed to come out of his house. »

Srinagar, March 29 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Peoples Democratic Party President and former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti has been denied a passport by the Indian government citing that issuance of the passport to the PDP chief is detrimental to the security of India.

61-year-old Mehbooba Mufti tweeted today to say that the passport office has mentioned a report of Criminal Investigation Department, which has refused to give a go ahead.

“Passport Office refused to issue my passport based on CID’s report citing it as ‘detrimental to the security of India. This is the level of normalcy achieved in Kashmir since Aug 2019 that an ex Chief Minister holding a passport is a threat to the sovereignty of a mighty nation,” she ridiculed in her tweet. »

Srinagar, March 29 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Youth Social and Justice League (JKYSJL) and Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League have welcomed the efforts aimed at resumption of dialogue process between Pakistan and India to resolve all outstanding issues.

JKYSJL during a party meeting in Srinagar stressed that steps be taken for resolving the core issue of Kashmir between the two countries in line with the wishes and aspirations of the Kashmiri people.

The meeting was chaired by party Chairman Ahmad Malik and was attended by General Secretary Sameena Banoo,Burhanudin, Khubaib Mir, Mohammad Salman, Syed Aamir and other party members. »
