Asks officials to hoist Indian flag on govt buildings

Blood and Soil in Narendra Modi's India | The New YorkerJammu, March 31 (KMS): In yet another move to Indianise the Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Narendra Modi-led fascist Indian government has directed the district officers in the territory to ensure that Indian flag is hoisted on all government buildings and establishments under their jurisdiction.

The directions were issued by the Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha, in a meeting with the Divisional Commissioners, District Magistrates, and Superintendents of Police. »

Srinagar, March 31 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian troops, in their unabated acts of state terrorism, martyred eleven Kashmiris during the last month of March.

According to the data issued by the Research Section of Kashmir Media Service, today, of those killed three youth were martyred in a fake encounter.

During the month, fifty-one (51) youth were critically injured due to use of brute force including firing of pellets and teargas shells by Indian police and paramilitary troops on peaceful demonstrators and mourners in the occupied territory. »

Karachi, March 31 (KMS): The Foreign Minister, Shah Mahmood Qureshi, has said that Pakistan and India are heading towards a positive trajectory of ties in the aftermath of significant developments starting with the letter from Indian Prime Minister felicitating his counterpart on the Pakistan Day, which was responded by Prime Minister Imran Khan.

In an interview in Dushanbe, Qureshi said the prime minister, while thanking the Indian prime minister, has reiterated Islamabad’s earnest desire to have peaceful ties with all neighbouring countries, including India. However, this requires resolution of all outstanding issues between the two countries, including the most important dispute over Indian illegal occupation of Jammu and Kashmir. He said PM Imran Khan, in his letter to his counterpart, said, “If India desires peaceful relations with Pakistan, New Delhi will have to create a conducive and enabling atmosphere.” »

Islamabad, March 31 (KMS): Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed has said that political forces on both sides of the Line of Control (LoC) should make efforts to ease tension between India Pakistan, adding it would not work until the resolution of the Kashmir dispute.

Addressing a news conference here, he also termed Kashmir a jugular vein of Pakistan.

Washington D.C., March 31 (KMS): The US Secretary of State, releasing the annual ‘2020 Country Reports on Human Rights Practices’, said in India societal violence based on religion and caste and by religiously associated groups continued to be a serious concern. Muslims and lower-caste Dalit groups continued to be the most vulnerable.

It said that the Ministry of Home Affairs data for 2016-17 showed 703 incidents of communal (religious) violence occurred in which 86 persons were killed and 2,321 injured. According to the NHRC, there were 672 cases of discrimination and victimization against Scheduled Castes and 79 cases against minorities in 2018-19.
