Regional parties demand statehood with Articles 370 & 35A

Srinagar, April 04 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference has expressed deep concern over the hike in killing and arrest spree unleashed by brutal Indian forces in the territory.

APHC Working Vice Chairman, Ghulam Ahamad Gulzar in a statement issued in Srinagar deplored that the Indian troops were committing the worst kind of human rights violations, on one pretext or the other. He urged the United Nations Secretary General, António Guterres and other world bodies to take serious note of the widespread killings, third degree methods of physical violence, destruction of property and illegal detentions in IIOJK. The APHC leader urged the UN and international community to fulfill their pledges with respect to the implementation of the UN Security Council resolutions on Kashmir. »

Srinagar, April 04 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the regional political parties have stepped up their demand to restore pre 5 August 2019 position while giving Jammu and Kashmir statehood with Articles 370 and 35A. They have emphasised the need to raise the demand in one voice.

Member of Indian Parliament from Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir Hasnain Masoodi along with another member of Indian Parliament Kunwar Danish Ali while interacting with the media in Srinagar strongly demanded the withdrawal of the illegal move saying that it did not go well with the people of Jammu and Kashmir. »

Srinagar, April 04 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Tehreek-e-Wahdat Islamic (TWI) has welcomed the recent statement of Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan and the cabinet decision that no trade will be done with India without restoration of Kashmir’s special status.

A statement issued by the TWI after its meeting in Srinagar with senior party leader, Gulshan Abbas in chair said that the efforts of Pakistan for highlighting the Kashmir dispute and Indian state terrorism in IIOJK were discussed in the meeting. »

Srinagar, April 04 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, at least twenty-eight shops were gutted in midnight blaze in Baba Reshi area of Tangmarg in Baramulla district on Sunday.

Media reports said that during midnight fire, which erupted in the Babar Reshi Market, engulfed at least twenty-eight shops. Three shops were saved due to efforts of Police and Locals. »

Islamabad, April 04 (KMS: Indian troops continue to wreak havoc during so-called cordon and search operations in occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

A research report released by Kashmir Media Service, today, said that CASOs are launched to cause death and destruction in the territory. In latest one, three Kashmiri youth were martyred and residential houses blasted by the troops in Kakapora area of Pulwama district.

Indian troops don’t spare even children and women during dreaded operations. The report said that violent CASOs and raids are just a pretext to harass and hunt down the Kashmiris. Curfews, crackdowns, raids and CASOs have become a norm in the militarized territory, it added. »

Srinagar, April 04 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Hurriyat leader, Javaid Ahmad Mir has strongly condemned the ongoing spree of death and destruction unleashed by Indian forces in Pulwama.

Javaid Ahmad Mir in a statement issued in Srinagar deplored that dozens of Kashmiri youths had been arrested by Indian forces in night raids in Pulwama and other parts of south Kashmir. »

Rajpur, April 04 (KMS): As many as 15 bodies of Indian soldiers were found on Sunday from the site of the gunfight that broke out between security forces and Maoists in central Indian State, Chhattisgarh, taking the toll of dead Indian soldiers to 20.

Five soldiers were confirmed dead and 30 others injured in Bastar region on Saturday, while 21 soldiers were reported missing. Sunday’s count took the toll to 20, Bijapur superintendent of police Kamalochan Kashyap confirmed.

The gunfight that broke out in Terram jungles along the borders of Bijapur and Sukma districts also resulted in the death of a suspected Maoist, officials said. »

Srinagar, April 04 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian police have arrested 10 persons during raids and cordon and search operations at different places in Pulwama district.

Police along with Indian Army and Central Reserve Police Force carried out the raids and searches following the killing of three youth by the troops during a violent CASO in Kakapora area of the district on Friday. The troops also blasted a house with explosive material during the operation. »

Srinagar, April 04 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, body of a man was recovered from a cab in the central Kashmir district of Budgam, today.

Reports said that panic gripped Daharmuna village when some locals saw the body of a man inside a cab at the main road in Budgam. The locals immediately informed the police and a team was rushed to the area and the body was taken away.

The deceased was later identified as Ali Muhammad, a resident of Magam in Budgam. »

Srinagar, April 04 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Jammu and Kashmir Mass Movement (JKMM) has condemned frequent cordon and search operations launched by Indian forces to suppress the struggle of Kashmiris for right to self-determination.

The JKMM Information Secretary, Shabbir Ahmad in a statement issued in Srinagar said, the massacre of innocent people and harassment of women and children during house searches by the troops have made the Kashmiris’ lives a hell. »
