Srinagar, April 07 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Peoples Democratic Party chief Mehbooba Mufti while reacting to the Modi-led fascist Indian government’s order to hoist Indian flag on buildings in Kashmir has said that the order reflects a sense of insecurity on part of New Delhi vis-à-vis Jammu and Kashmir.

Talking to reporters at her Gupkar residence in Srinagar, Mehbooba Mufti wondered why such orders were not issued anywhere in India and why in J&K only. »

Indian troops launch CASO in Baramulla area | Kashmir Media ServiceSrinagar, April 07 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian troops have launched massive cordon and search operations in Srinagar, Pulwama and Shopian areas of the territory.

The troops and paramilitary personnel cordoned off Inder, Midora, Melhora Wachi, Chitragam and Gulab Bagh areas and launched house-to-house searches.

A senior police official told media that CASOs have been jointly launched by the personnel of Indian Army and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF). »

India witnessed a deadly Maoist attack in Bajapur area of the central state of Chhattisgarh on Sunday which killed at least 22 soldiers.

The Maoists, also known as Naxals, have waged an armed struggle against government forces for decades. They say they are fighting for the poor who have been left behind economically.

On Saturday, the Teklagudem village found itself at the centre of the raging battle between Maoists and Indian forces as some of the villagers were beaten up by the cops. »

Jaishankar to intervene to save the future of hundreds of Kashmiri students enrolled in Pakistani universities and colleges.

Muhammad Ahsan Untoo in a letter to S. Jaishankar said that earlier on 17th of March, some thirty male and female students had all the travel documents to travel to Pakistan for their studies but unfortunately all were stopped at Wagah border by Indian security officials. »

Jammu, April 07 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, APHC leader and the Chairman of the Jammu and Kashmir Social Peace Forum, Advocate Devinder Singh Behl, has said that Kashmir is an internationally recognized disputed territory, occupied by India by military force.

Devinder Singh Behl, while addressing a meeting in connection with the awareness campaign in Thandasellari area of Sundarbani in Jammu region said the Kashmiri people are struggling for their right to self-determination, acknowledged by the international community, UN and India. He said despite the passage of seven decades, the issue has not been resolved due to Indian bigotry. Devinder Singh Behl said that New Delhi repealed Articles 370 and 35-A on August 5, 2019 in violation of international law to maintain its forcible occupation and change the demography in Jammu and Kashmir. »
