Srinagar, April 11 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, clad in black burqas, dozens of Kashmiri women took out a procession in reaction to a function sponsored by BJP and RSS against the Kahmiris’ ethos and norms in Srinagar.

Holding placards in favour of veil and headscarf, the women gathered at Nehru Park in Srinagar and marched against a recently held fashion show on the same road stretch. The placards had messages like “We are proud of our Hijab,” We love the Hijab of Hazrat Fatima Zahra”. They said that the Modi-led fascist Indian government, in fact, wants to rob Kashmiri women of their traditional dress and impose un-Islamic culture in the territory. The march started from Shrine in Gupkar and culminated at Kashmir International Convention Centre. »

Srinagar, April 11 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Hurriyat leaders and organizations have condemned in strong terms the killing of innocent youth and desecration of a mosque by the Indian forces in Shopian district and termed it as the worst form of state-terrorism.

APHC leader and Chairman Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Political Movement Khawaja Firdous in a statement issued in Srinagar while paying tributes to the martyrs in Shopian and Islamabad said that India has issued an open licence to its brutal troops to kill innocent Kashmiris. He said that the troops, enjoying immunity under draconian laws, kill Kashmiris and desecrate mosques during cordon and search operations to perks and promotions. He said that India is killing Kashmiris extra judicially under a well thought-out plan. »

Islamabad, April 11 (KMS): The All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter held a protest demonstration outside Islamabad Press Club, today.

The protest, led by Hurriyat leader, Hassan Al-Bana, was held against the fresh killing spree by Indian troops in occupied Jammu and Kashmir. The participants holding banners and placards bearing anti-India slogans condemned the Indian brutalities in the occupied territory. »

Srinagar, April 11 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Pastor Augustine, a representative of the Christian community in India, called on President of Anjuman Sharie Shian, Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi Al-Safvi for inter-faith dialogue.

Srinagar, April 11 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir,
former Special Police Officer (SPO) and brother of Head Constable was on Sunday shot dead by unknown gunmen at Magam area of Central Kashmir’s Badgam district.

An official told media that unknown gunmen fired upon a former SPO at his home in Magam area, leaving him severely wounded.

The man, who was attacked is also brother of a Head Constable, a top police official said. »

International Forum for Justice Human Rights Jammu and Kashmir while condemning the killing of 12 youth in less than 72 hours has said that the media advisory issued by the Inspector General of Police barring journalists from covering the so-called CASO sites raises questions about the Indian forces’ version of alleged “gunfights”.
