Indian forces go berserk, thrash people

Srinagar, April 13 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Hurriyat leaders and organizations have called for unconditional release of all political detainees including Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Muhammad Yasin Malik, Shabbir Ahmed Shah, Masarrat Aalam Butt and Aasiya Andrabi without any further delay.

The leaders and organizations in their statements issued in Srinagar said, the detentions are nothing but political vendetta and the authorities have no legal and moral justification to keep them behind the bars or in house detention during the holy month of Ramadan. They said majority of these political prisoners are in custody without any trial and others whose cases are in courts are deliberately not taken for the hearings on one pretext or another.

Meanwhile, posters appeared in every nook and corner of the territory expressing the resolve of the Kashmiri people to continue their struggle for freedom till the implementation of the relevant UN resolutions. The posters displayed by Jammu and Kashmir Young Mens League, Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Justice Party, Kashmir Resistance Movement, Kashmir Hurriyat Youth Forum, Jammu and Kashmir Justice League and Jammu and Kashmir Justice Peace Initiative also called for restoration of the special status of Jammu and Kashmir. »

Srinagar, April 13 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian forces arrested seven youth in Baramulla and Kupwara districts.

The personnel of Indian Army, paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force and police during cordon and search operations arrested five youth including Mohammad Yaseen, Showkat Ahmad and Ghulam Nabi Rather at Kachloo crossing on Baramulla-Handwara Highway and Baderkali in Handwara. »

Srinagar, April 13 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, International Forum for Justice Human Rights Jammu and Kashmir while strongly reacting to the statement of Inspector General of Police, Vijay Kumar, has said that Indian troops have desecrated mosques at many places in the past without any provocation.

IFJHR Chairman Muhammad Ahsan Untoo in response to the IGP’s statement that Kashmiri youth are using mosques in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the troops cannot blast mosques on one pretext or another. »

New York, April 13 (KMS): Frustrated by the superiority of China in technology, India is groping for help from the US and other countries to shore up its fragile defense infrastructure, vulnerable to China-backed cyber-attacks, Bloomberg has reported quoting a top military official.

The New York-based privately held financial, software, data, and media company Bloomberg quoting India’s Chief of Defence Staff Defense Chief General Bipin Rawat said, New Delhi is racing to develop capabilities, but even so, its critical and military systems remain highly vulnerable to breaches.

The matter was discussed during US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin’s visit last month and it was decided to seek cooperation in the spheres of cybersecurity and artificial intelligence, the US based publication reported. »

Srinagar, April 13 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, a team of Indian police went berserk and beat up ruthlessly everyone at a restaurant in Pattan, Baramulla district

The police beat up and thrashed all including waiters, restaurant owner and customers at the ‘Yasir Restaurant Pattan’.

“We had just summed up the things and were taking dinner when a police team barged inside the dining hall”, an eyewitness told media men and said, when they were taking meals the police men without asking for anything or letting them ask for something they went berserk, thrashed all present inside. »

Srinagar, April 13 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) President Mehbooba Mufti has expressed the apprehension that Modi-led regime is planning to arrest her.

Mehbooba Mufti in a media interview in Srinagar said that New Delhi was trying to demoralize her by calling her for questioning.

She said, “For the last two years, the Indian government has been trying to finish PDP in one way or another. On one hand, New Delhi is luring PDP leaders while on the other it is trying to demoralize me by calling me for questioning”, she said, adding, “after failing to get substantial evidence of corruption against me, New Delhi has now called my mother. I fear they will also call my daughters and brother in near future”. »

Brussels, April 13 (KMS): The Chairman of Kashmir Council Europe (KCEU), Ali Raza Syed, has said that the European Union should mention human rights of the people of Jammu and Kashmir in its dialogue with India.
