Srinagar, April 16 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian police arrested several youth including a woman in Srinagar and Kulgam districts.
Indian police during house raids arrested half a dozen youth including brother of a prominent Mujahid commander, Mushtaq Ahmad Zargar in downtown area of the Srinagar city.
The police also arrested a woman, who on April 14 this year raised voice against Indian troops’ atrocities and resisted troops to enter her house during a cordon and search operation in Frisal area of Kulgam district. The video of the women also went viral on social media platforms. »

Srinagar, April 16 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, a delegation of Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Justice Party (JKDJP) visited Habak area of Srinagar where a woman died due to heart attack during a raid by Indian police, yesterday.
The JKDJP General Secretary, Nazir Ahmad Wani, led the delegation and expressed solidarity with the bereaved family. He appealed to the UN to intervene and save the Kashmiris from Indian atrocities. »

Srinagar, April 16 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, International Forum for Justice Human Rights J&K has condemned the nocturnal police raid in Habak area of Srinagar that led to the killing of a 60-year-old woman who died of heart attack while her son was being dragged away by Indian police personnel.
Identified as Khadija, a mother of four, the woman collapsed in front of her family and was later declared brought dead at a hospital.
The IFJHRJK Chairman, Muhammad Ahsan Untoo, in a statement issued in Srinagar said that Indian police had become a terrorist force for the common people in IIOJK that is detaining and torturing youth in a brutal manner »

Islamabad, April 16 (KMS): The Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Freedom League (JKPFL), Muhammad Farooq Rehmani, has demanded the withdrawal of Indian troops from Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
Muhammad Farooq Rehmani in a statement issued in Islamabad, welcoming the American President, Joe Biden’s landmark decision to begin withdrawing of the US troops from Afghanistan, said that the same principle should be applied to IIOJK where the Indian troops were shedding human blood and making the inhabitants homeless for several decades in violation of the UN Charter. »

New Delhi, April 16 (KMS): A Delhi court has granted bail to a former Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) student, Umar Khalid in a case related to the communal violence in Delhi in February last year, saying he cannot be made to remain in jail for infinity.
The court said, Umar Khalid was not present at the scene of the crime. “The applicant is not visible in any CCTV footage pertaining to the scene of crime. There is no identification of the applicant…,” Additional Sessions Judge, Vinod Yadav noted. »

Jammu, April 16 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the authorities have deferred the biannual Darbar move to Srinagar, saying that the Civil Secretariat, which is the seat of the administration, shall function both in Srinagar and Jammu cities due to spike in Covid cases.
As part of the biannual Darbar move and the Civil Secretariat’s shift, other move offices and the Governor House were scheduled to close in Jammu on April 30 to May 1 and set to begin functioning in Srinagar from May 10. »

Muzaffarabad, April 16 (KMS): The Azad Jammu and Kashmir government has launched an assistance programme for the affectees of Indian firing at the Line of Control (LoC).
AJK Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan formally launched the programme by giving away cheques to the victims at a function held in PM House Muzaffarabad.
Under the package, the heirs of the civilian martyrs will be paid 3000 rupees each per month. »
