Srinagar, April 17 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, APHC leader and the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Social Peace Forum (JKSPF), Advocate Devinder Singh Behl, has said that durable peace in South Asia cannot be established without resolving the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the Kashmiris’ aspirations and the UN resolutions.

Devinder Singh Behl while talking to the delegations from Sundar Bani and Culkate areas of Jammu said Kashmir is an internationally-recognized dispute pending resolution for the last over seven decades. »

Force Launch Cordon in Pulwama village -Srinagar, April 17 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference has deplored that India has kept the entire population of the territory hostage and deprived the people of all their basic rights and freedoms for the last over seventy three years.

The APHC spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar, today, said that Indian troops were killing innocent Kashmiris, molesting woman and committing other brutalities in the occupied territory to suppress the ongoing freedom movement. »

According to a report released by Kashmir Media Service, today, Pakistan is considered safe for minorities who can practice their religious values at will and by and large no discrimination is witnessed against any faith in the society. It said generally, followers of all faiths including Muslims, Christians, Hindus and Sikhs live peacefully together in Pakistan. It said promotion of religious and sectarian harmony as enshrined in the Holy Quran and Sunnah is vital to make Pakistan a welfare state in line with the principles set by the role model – State of Madina. »

Srinagar, April 17 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Mutahida Majlis-e-Ulema (MMU) Jammu and Kashmir, an umbrella body of religious organizations, has condemned the authorities for continuing to keep its chief Mirwaiz Umar Farooq under arbitrary house detention even in the holy month of Ramadan.

The MMU in a statement issued in Srinagar said that Mirwaiz Umar Farooq was kept under house arrest despite repeated appeals to release him so that he could resume his responsibilities in this holy month for Muslims. It said that such anti-Muslim acts were unfortunate to say the least. »

Srinagar, April 17 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian troops have launched a cordon and search operation in Rajouri town in Jammu region.

The troops and police personnel cordoned off the Dhani Dhar area of the town and launched house to house searches. The operation was going on when last reports came in. »

Srinagar, April 17 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the International Forum For Justice and Human Rights Jammu and Kashmir has expressed concern over the continued illegal detention of thousands of Kashmiris arrested in the aftermath of August 5 2019 Indian moves.

The IFJHRJK Chairman, Muhammad Ahsan Untoo in a statement issued in Srinagar said, the Kashmiri detainees are not criminals but are political detainees and are being hounded purely for their political views.

He deplored that soon after India repealed Kashmir’s special status and imposed military siege in the territory, thousands of people were rounded up by the Indian authorities to suppress the people so that they could not raise their voice against the Indian illegal actions. »

Srinagar, April 17 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel on Saturday opened fire on a vehicle in Awantipora area of Pulwama district, seriously injuring a woman.

A senior police officer told media that the CRPF personnel opened fire on a ‘suspected’ vehicle, injuring a woman. He said, the injured woman has been shifted to a hospital.

The injured woman has been identified as Jazi Pervez, daughter of Pervez Ahmed Sheikh, resident of Moran in Pulwama.
