Srinagar, April 19 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred two Kashmiri youth in Shopian district, today.

The troops martyred the youth during a cordon and search operation (CASO) in Zeipora village of the district

Several youth were also injured after Indian forces fired bullets and pellets on protesters in the area against the killing and operations. »

Youth subjected to third degree torture in jails

Srinagar, April 19 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian troops are harassing Kashmiris, particularly women and children during cordon and search operations despite the holy month of Ramadan in the territory.

The troops subjected women to molestation, youth to brutal torture and children to harassment during the violent operations in Zeipora, Badigam and Alshipora, Sopore and several other areas of Shopian, Pulwam and Islamabad districts. A few days ago an elderly woman named Khadeeja was shocked to death during the military operation in Pulwama while another was booked under black law for raising voice against house raids and CASOs. »

Islamabad, April 19 (KMS): Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party has sought the role of world human rights organizations in the release of party Chairman Shabbir Ahmad Shah languishing in Tihar Jail for over the past three years.

DFP acting Chairman Mehmood Ahmad Saghar in a statement while terming the illegal imprisonment of Shabbir Ahmad Shah and others as a deep-rooted conspiracy to suppress voice of dissent in Kashmir said that the ailing APHC leader was being punished for his unprecedented and indomitable role in the Kashmiris’ ongoing freedom struggle against the Indian illegal occupation.

Urging world human rights organizations to take effective notice of the fast deteriorating health condition of the party chairman and other Hurriyat leaders, Saghar said that Shabbir Ahmad Shah who has been suffering from multiple ailments is not receiving proper medical treatment in the highly congested jail, which has been declared as a hotbed of the coronavirus. »

Srinagar, April 19 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Tehreek-e-Wahdat-e-Islami has expressed grave concern over the rising Indian state terrorism in Kashmir saying that Narendra Modi’s fascist government is violating the Universal Charter of Human Rights to force the Kashmiris to give up their justice-based struggle for rights.

A spokesman for Tehreek-e-Wahdat-e-Islami in a statement issued in Srinagar said that Indian occupational troops had intensified their atrocities in the territory where infants, women and the elderly are also being targeted to intimidate freedom-loving Kashmiris. He said that black laws were being imposed even on women for speaking out against the atrocities committed by Indian troops, while young people were being brutally tortured in front of their mothers during night raids on their houses. »

Srinagar, April 19 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, posters continued to have appeared in different parts of the territory including Srinagar against Modi government’s efforts to promote Hindutva in IIOJK.

The posters displayed by Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Justice Party (JKDJP) said the struggle would continue till implementation of UN resolutions. India has been asked to reverse its decision of August 05, 2019 to maintain the disputed nature of Jammu and Kashmir. »

Srinagar, April 19 (KMS): The National Conference has said that the exclusivist policies and the scripted mayhem of Modi-led Indian regime towards Jammu and Kashmir has left a trail of destroyed economy and smoldered democracy and has stressed that the situation can be redeemed only by reversing the August 5 decisions.

This was stated by the party General Secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar while expressing concern over the widespread administrative inertia, crumbling economy, soaring unemployment and scathing alienation of the people of IIOJK. He said, the subsequent milestones achieved by the ruling dispensation were ill-conceived and back breaking. He said that mutilating, downgrading, and disempowering Jammu and Kashmir has pushed the entire region into a limbo and on the terminal path of alienation. »

Srinagar, April 19 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference Chairman Shabbir Ahmed Dar has expressed grave concern over the rising graph of human rights abuses by Indian forces against Kashmiris, particularly women and children in Kashmir.

Shabbir Ahmad Dar in a statement issued in Srinagar said, the occupational forces are trampling every institution of civility and morality by targeting innocent women.

Muzaffarabad, April 19 (KMS): A protest rally was held, today, under the aegis of Pasban-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir against Indian brutalities in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir

The protesters were chanting slogans against Indian tyrant activities in IIOJK for turning the Muslim majority territory into a minority.

Protesters gathered at Burhan Wani Shaheed Chowk in Muzaffarabad where they held banners and placards with slogans in favour of Kashmir’s freedom and marched towards Gharipan Chowk where they set the Indian flag on fire. »

Srinagar, April 19 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the International Forum for Justice and Human Rights Jammu and Kashmir (IFJHRJK) has criticised the administration for allowing a gathering of 100 people while shutting down schools and colleges and asking people to pray inside homes.

The IFJHRJK Chairman, Muhammad Ahsan Untoo in a statement issued in Srinagar lashed out at the Mayor of Srinagar Municipal Corporation, who in a presser asked people to restrict themselves at homes while allowing gatherings of 100 people in public places and gardens. »
