Indian troops violating COVID SOPs during CASOs: APHC

Srinagar, May 09 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the All Parties Harriyat Conference (APHC), Assistant Secretary General, Khawaja Firdous has condemned surge in cordon and search operations carried out by brutal Indian forces amid widespread coronavirus pandemic in the territory.

Khawaja Firdous in a statement issued in Srinagar said, the troops are violating the Covid 19 SOPs as people are forced to stay together for hours while the troops do not use masks during interrogating the besieged people.

The APHC leader said, on one hand, the people of Kashmir are caught in a natural catastrophe and the occupation forces are engaged in military operations, on the other, to suppress the voice for freedom.

He expressed grave concern over the rise in gross violations of human rights by the Indian fascist regime and urged the United Nations Council for Human Rights and other International rights organizations to impress upon India to release the prisoners amid Covid 19 pandemic and stop unleashing miseries on the people of the occupied territory.
