Srinagar, May 12 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Eid-ul-Fitr is being celebrated today on Thursday, May 13, 2021.

The announcement was made by the Kashmir’s Grand Mufti, Nasir-ul-Islam immediately after the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee in Pakistan announced that the Shawwal moon was sighted in many parts of the country.

Srinagar, May 12 (KMS): The All Parties Hurriyat Conference Working Vice Chairman, Ghulam Ahmed Gulzar, has expressed deep concern over the incessant upsurge in the killing spree at the hands of India and Israel in the illegally occupied territories of Kashmir and Palestine.

Ghulam Ahmed Gulzar in a statement issued in Srinagar said when the Muslim Ummah is preparing to celebrate the holy festival of Eid-ul-Fitr, the subjugated people of Kashmir and Palestine were burying the dead bodies of their dear ones in the graveyards for the demand of restoration of their basic rights. »

The APHC in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the measures taken by the Indian government on 5th August 2019 were against the international law and the UN Charter. »

Srinagar, May 12 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, people took out a protest rally in Srinagar on Tuesday night against the killing of three youth by Indian troops in Islamabad district.

The troops martyred the youth during a cordon and search operation in Vailoo area of the district on Tuesday.

A large number of people took out a rally in Batamaloo area of Srinagar against the killing of the youth. The protesters raised high-pitched pro-freedom slogans. They also offered funeral prayers in absentia for the martyred youth.

Srinagar, May 12 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Mutahida Majlis-e-Ulema, a conglomerate of religious bodies, headed by incarcerated Chairman of Hurriyat forum, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, has strongly condemned the bombing and killings of innocent Palestinians by oppressive Zionist forces.

The MMU, in a statement issued in Srinagar, also strongly denounced the attack on innocent worshippers inside Masjid Al-Aqsa in occupied Jerusalem in the holy month of Ramadan and on the night of Laylat-ul-Qadr. »

Jammu, May 12 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Association (JKPA) has demanded immediate release of all Kashmiri political prisoners languishing in different jails of the territory and India.

The JKPA Chairman, Aquib Wani, in a statement issued in Jammu said the illegally detained Kashmiris are facing life threat due to lack of medical care when massive surge in coronavirus is sweeping India. He deplored that amidst fast spreading coronavirus, shifting of the Kashmiri prisoners from IIOJK to different parts of India was a brutal act and tantamount to endangering the prisoners’ lives. »

in a letter addressed to the UNCHR, the KIIR chief while highlighting the plight of Kashmiri prisoners said, “A sizable number of Kashmiri detainees who were arrested by the Indian authorities before and after 5th August 2019 have been detained in Tihar, Haryana, UP, Tamil Nadu, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka jails where there is lack of proper sanitation, hygiene and medical facilities”. »

Srinagar, May 12 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, a youth was found dead in Baramulla town.

The youth identified as Muhammad Abbas Mir was found dead under mysterious circumstances in an orchard in Delina area of the town.

An official told that some locals spotted the body in the orchard in Delina and accordingly informed the police. He said that a team of police from the concerned police station reached the spot and took the body into their possession. »
