Killing triggers forceful anti-India, pro-freedom protests

Srinagar, May 17 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian troops in their continuing acts of state terrorism martyred two more youth in Khonmoh area of Srinagar today.

The youth were killed during a cordon and search operation jointly launched by Indian Army, police and Central Reserve Police Force in Khonmoh.

The operation was going on while the whole area has been sealed and no one including media is allowed to enter the area. »

Srinagar, May 17 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) has condemned the arrest of the sons of martyred Kashmiri leader Muhammad Asharaf Sehrai, famous religious preacher Moulana Sarjan Barkati and others.

In a statement issued in Srinagar, the DFP spokesman termed it as a violation of basic human rights. He said that it was unfortunate that Kashmiris were not even allowed to mourn the death of their loved ones. Referring to the arrest of Moulana Barkati and dozens of others who were arrested for expressing solidarity with the people of Palestine, the spokesman said that arresting people merely for expressing sympathy with the suffering humanity was nothing but a frustration on the part of Indian government. »

Srinagar, May 17 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, senior Hurriyat leader Professor Abdul Ghani Butt has said that time has come to resolve all outstanding disputes including Kashmir to avoid confrontation and war like situation throughout the world.

In a statement issued in Srinagar, Prof Butt said Kashmir is a dispute since 1947 between Pakistan and India and needs to be resolved through a sustained dialogue process between Pakistan, India and the real representatives of Kashmiri people. »

Srinagar, May 17 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, an Indian army soldier was injured in a mine blast in Kupwara district.

The soldier was injured in a mine blast at Golf-11 post in Line of Control in Kupwra district

While working on a fence at Golf-11 post, the soldier was injured after a mine exploded abruptly. The injured soldier was shifted to hospital for treatment, the police said. »

Srinagar, May 17 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, mujahideen organisations have said that the two youth, martyred in Khonmoh, Srinagar, were not mujahideen but common youth.

The mujahideen organisations in their statements issued in Srinagar said that the Indian troops were killing innocent Kashmiri youth either in fake encounters or in cordon and search operations while dubbing them as mujahideen. The latest examples of such incidents were the fake encounters of Lawepura and Amrashpora, the statements added. »

Srinagar, May 17 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Doctors Association Kashmir (DAK) on Monday said a rare but deadly fungal infection called mucormycosis is infecting Covid-19 patients.

DAK President and influenza expert Dr Nisar-ul-Hassan in a statement issued in Srinagar, sounding alert, said if left untreated the disease can be fatal for Covid patients.

“Cases of mucormycosis, commonly known as black fungus are being reported in several states of the country among recovering and recovered Covid-19 patients,” he added. »

Srinagar, May 17 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Awami Action Committee (AAC) has paid tribute to its founder and prominent Hurriyat leader, Mirwaiz Molvi Muhammad Farooq on his 31st martyrdom anniversary.

It also paid tributes to the martyrs of Hawal and Hurriyat leader, Khawaja Abdul Ghani Lone on his 19th martyrdom anniversary.
