Islamabad, May 23 (KMS): The sacred cause of Kashmir’s freedom is very close to every Pakistani’s heart and Pakistan can’t even think of betraying Kashmiris.

An analytical report released by Kashmir Media Service has dismissed the impression being created by Modi-led fascist Indian government through its media that Islamabad has opted to maintain silence over India’s illegal actions of August 5, 2019. It said that Pakistani leaders are strictly adhered to resolve the Kashmir dispute as per relevant UN resolutions.

The report referred to the virtual address of Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan at Nikkei’s 26th Conference on ‘Future of Asia’ where he urged New Delhi to withdraw unilateral steps of 5 August 2019. »

Jammu, May 23 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, in-charge of Minority Affairs of the All Parties Harriet Conference, Advocate, Davinder Singh Behl has expressed concern over the plight of Kashmiri political detainees languishing in different jails of India.

Davinder Singh Behl in a statement issued in Jammu deplored that the political detainees were without basic amenities and medical care. He urged the United Nations Council for Human Rights and other international human rights organizations to visit the Indian jails and assess the deteriorating health conditions of the Kashmiri political detainees.

He said that the authorities were not releasing the political detainees of IIOJK on parole despite the rulings of the Indian Supreme Court keeping in view the Covid pandemic which has badly engulfed India.

The Hurriyat leader said that the Modi-led Indian fascist regime was deliberately making the illegally detained Hurriyat leaders and activists vulnerable to the Covid pandemic as they did in case of senior APHC leader and Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir Chairman, Muhamed Ashraf Sehrai in Jammu jai. »

Srinagar, May 23 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Doctors Association Kashmir (DAK) has warned against the irrational use of steroids in Covid-19 patients.

The DAK President and influenza expert Dr Nisar-ul-Hassan in a statement issued in Srinagar said, “Indiscriminate use of steroids can trigger deadly black fungal infection, called mucormycosis which has reached to epidemic proportions in several states of India”.

He said, steroids are life-saving drugs in severe Covid patients who have respiratory distress or need oxygen or ventilation. They are not indicated for those patients who are not having respiratory distress and are not having any kind of need for oxygen, he added. »

Srinagar, May 23 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the authorities have decided to extend ‘Corona curfew’ in all 20 districts till May 31 supposedly to control the spread of surging coronaviru pandemic.

The Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) in a tweet said: “Corona curfew imposed in all 20 districts of the territory till Monday, is extended further till May 31 (Monday)”

“Curfew will be strict except for a few essential services,” the tweet reads further, adding, “DCs being given limited flexibility to ensure economic activities do not suffer.”

Islamabad, May 23 (KMS): A meeting of the constituents of Jammu and Kashmir Freedom Movement Forum (JKFMF) was held in Islamabad, today, with APHC-AJK chapter Convener, Muhammad Hussain Khateeb in chair.

The participants of the meeting expressed serious concern over the growing human rights violations by Indian forces in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. They said that the Indian forces were harassing and arresting innocent people of IIOJK on one pretext or the other and put them behind the bar in far-flung areas including India in false cases. »

Jammu, May 23 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the first death of 40-year-old patient suffering from mucormycosis, who was admitted to the government medical college in Jammu has left the alarm bells ringing in the winter capital.

Jammu has already witnessed “comparatively higher” mortality due to the Covid, the reporting of first case of black fungus and death due to it is a new worry, the health experts said. The first black fungus mortality took place in Jammu and on May 21.

As per the GMC principal, Dr Shashi Sudan Sharma, “His tests confirmed him to be a case of mucormycosis, commonly called black fungus. His blood sugar had shot up to 900 when he was brought to the hospital emergency.” »
