Srinagar, May 28 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian troops launched violent cordon and search operations in Baramulla and Badgam districts, today.

A joint team of Indian Army, paramilitary and police cordoned off Warpora area of Sopore in Baramulla district and launched searches. In Badgam, the troops from 50 and 53 Rashtriya Rifles assisted by Special Operations Group of police and CRPF personnel started the violent search operations at Noubugh village and in Tanghar Karalpora area. The operations at all the places were underway till last reports came in. »

Islamabad, May 28 (KMS): The All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter organized a demonstration outside the National Press Club, Islamabad, today, against the Indian brutalities in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

Addressing on the occasion, APHC-AJK leaders deplored that Indian troops had made the life of the people of IIOJK miserable. They said that the troops were killing innocent Kashmiri youth on daily basis and this killing spree was continuing unabated.

The Hurriyat leaders said by killing the youth, India cannot suppress the freedom sentiment of the Kashmiri people. They said the unrelenting military siege and corona lock-down have aggravated the humanitarian crisis in the occupied territory. They said that India must realize the fact that the delay in the resolution of the Kashmir dispute was leading New Delhi to destruction. »

Demands their release along with all political prisoners

Srinagar, May 28 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq-led Hurriyat forum has expressed serious concern about the health of martyred APHC leader, Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai’s two illegally detained sons who have tested positive for COVID-19 in jail.

The Hurriyat forum in a statement issued in Srinagar said, both sons of late Sehrai – Mujahid Sehrai and Rashid Sehrai – were arrested and booked by Indian police just days after their father lost his life due to non-availability of medical treatment at Udhampur jail in Jammu. “Hundreds of Kashmiri political leaders, activists and youth continue to be behind the bars for years altogether and are not being released despite the second wave of coronavirus pandemic wreaking havoc,” it said. »

Beijing, May 28 (KMS): The spokesperson for the Chinese foreign affairs ministry, Lijian Zhao, said on Friday that in order for Britain to absolve itself of its “bloody colonial past,” it needs to stop bloodshed in Kashmir.

“As long as the bloodshed in Kashmir continues, Britain can never clean itself from its bloody colonial past,” Lijian Zhao said in a series of Tweets posted on Friday while quoting an article published in China’s premier news agency Xinhua’s website.

Zhao has formerly served in the Chinese consulate in Islamabad and is notable for his distinguished diplomatic career. He has maintained a visible presence on social media platforms, especially the microblogging site Twitter and Facebook. »

Srinagar, May 28 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Tehreek-e-Muzahamat and Jammu and Kashmir Political Resistance Movement have termed the continued illegal detention of Rashid Sehrai and Mujahid Sehrai, sons of martyred senior APHC leader Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai, as the worst example of colonial and wicked mindset.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the Tehreek-e-Muzahamat Chairman, Bilal Ahmed Siddiqui, in a statement issued in Srinagar deplored that both sons of Sehrai Sahab had contracted COVID-19 in jail due to inhuman behaviour of the occupation authorities. »

Srinagar, May 28 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir,   Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred one Kashmiri youth in Shopian district, today.

The troops martyred the youth during a cordon and search operation in Ganowpora area of the district. The operation was going on when last reports came in. »

It is Kashmir.

If British India was the jewel in the crown of the British Empire, then Kashmir has been the biggest crack in it when the crown finally fell over on that land. Since the Partition of India in 1947, three devastating wars and unending violence have submerged the Valley in blood and tears, leaving its people in grievous past and uncertain future. The humiliation and hatred incited by colonists still haunt the two peoples on that land generation after generation. »

Srinagar, May 28 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) has strongly condemned the use of brute force to stop peaceful protests against the non-availability of medical facilities and vaccines essential to fight coronavirus pandemic.

The APHC Working Vice Chairman, Ghulam Ahmed Gulzar in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the Narendra Modi-led fascist Indian regime was deliberately playing with the lives of the oppressed people of IIOJK. He said the Kashmiri people are in distress due to the acute shortage of the COVID vaccines and the basic amenities of life. He said, in this odd situation, the Indian fascist regime is testing the patience of the besieged and furious people who have come to roads protesting against the Modi-led Indian regime. »

Srinagar, May 28 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Hurriyat leaders and organizations have welcomed the recent statement of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) President, Volkan Bozkir, in which he categorically stated that the status of Kashmir dispute must not be changed unless it was resolved as per the UN Security Council resolutions.

JKPL Chairman, Mukhtar Ahmed Waza in a statement issued in Srinagar lauded the government and people of Pakistan for their meaningful and constructive role in seeking a just and amicable settlement of the disputes of Kashmir and Palestine. »
