Srinagar, May 31 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, a major fire damaged at least five shops, three godowns and nearly forty vegetable carts in Handwara town.
The blaze broke out in Sabzi Market near old bus stand of the town which spread to a vast area that damaged shops, godowns and nearly forty vegetable carts, twenty seven of them severely, Fire and Emergency Services (F&ES) officials said.
Meanwhile, a double storey residential house belonging to one Nissar Ahmed Qazi was gutted in fire in Phagsoo area of Doda district. No injury or casualty has been reported in the incident, while the exact loss could not be ascertained yet.
