47,729 Protest Illustrations & Clip ArtSrinagar, June 02 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Forum (JKTF) on Wednesday staged a silent protest against the Indian authorities for not releasing the salaries of around 149 Kashmiri teachers.

Scores of teachers assembled at Press Enclave in Srinagar and held a sit-in protest to press for their demands.

Muhammad Rafiq Rather, Chairman of Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum told the media that 149 teachers are not getting their salaries because of fabricated charges.

He said that a youth from Kulgam committed suicide after in protest against the withholding of his father’s salary by the authorities since last 24 months.

“The administration must release the salaries of all the employees to prevent such incidents in the future,” he added.
