Islamabad, March 18 (KMS): Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa has said Pakistan is ready to resolve all outstanding disputes with its neighbors through dialogue in a dignified and peaceful manner.

He was addressing Islamabad Security Dialogue in the federal capital on Thursday.

The Army Chief however stressed that this choice is deliberate and based on rationality, and not as a result of any pressure.

General Qamar Javed Bajwa said it is time that synergies are created in South Asia through connectivity, peaceful coexistence and resource sharing to fight hunger, illiteracy and disease instead of fighting each other. »

Srinagar, March 14 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Muttahida Majlis-e-Ulema (MMU) has strongly condemned the mischievous and malicious agenda of former Chairman of Central Shia Waqf Board in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, Waseem Rizvi.

Waseem Rizvi has filed a petition in the Supreme Court of India against some verses of the holy Quran. »

Srinagar, March 07 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Youth Social Forum (JKYSF) has urged India to immediately release all Kashmiri political detainees and resolve the Kashmir dispute as per the United Nations resolutions.

The JKYSF in a party meeting in Pulwama said that Kashmir was an internationally recognized disputed territory and the United Nations in its resolutions had promised right to self determination to the people of Kashmir. »

Srinagar, March 05 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Chairman of Islami Tanzeem-e-Azadi, Abdul Salam Inqilabi has demanded immediate release of all illegally detained Hurriyat leaders and activists languishing in different jails of the territory and India.

Abdul Salam Inqilabi in a statement issued in Srinagar thanked the government of Pakistan for effectively highlighting at international level the Indian atrocities in IIOJK. »

Srinagar, March 05 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, a delegation of Threek-e-Mazhamat led by Vice Chairman, Shabbir Ahmed Zargar, today, visited the residence of Shaheed Gulzar Ahmad Wani in Nowshera area of Srinagar.

The members of the delegation expressed sympathy and solidarity with Wani’s family on demise of his father, who died awaiting and craving to know if his beloved son is live or martyred. »

Srinagar, March 04 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Chairman of International Forum for Justice Human Rights Jammu and Kashmir Mohammad Ahsan Untoo has said that soon after India repealed the special status of the territory on August 05, 2019, thousands of people were arrested by the Indian authorities to repress the people so that they do not voice their opposition to the illegal move.

Srinagar, March 02 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Darul Khair headed by Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has expressed deep anguish over huge loss of property due to fire incident in Safakadal area of Srinagar.

Property worth millions of rupees was damaged in the blaze in Shaher-e-Khaas. At least, five residential houses were also gutted.

Darul Khair expressed heartfelt solidarity and sympathy with the affected families and stressed their immediate rehabilitation in view of the bone chilling harsh winter. »

Washington, March 01(KMS): Members of the Kashmiri diaspora in the US have expressed concern over the death threat to Sushil Pandit, a Kashmiri human rights activist, urging the Indian government to take a stern action against those responsible behind the plot to assassinate him.

Pandit is a human rights activist. On Saturday, two men, who were hired to kill Pandit, were arrested in Delhi.

The Indo-American Kashmir Forum (IAKF) said in a statement that the failed attempt on Pandit had once again highlighted the risks to the community’s secure life and liberty. »

Srinagar, February 22 (KMS): In Indian Illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, posters have again appeared in Srinagar and adjoining areas asking people to totally reject the upcoming visit by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the territory.

The posters installed on poles and streets in Srinagar read that Narendra Modi is a killer of Kashmiri people and has evil designs against them.

The posters displayed by the All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Jammu and Kashmir Students League, Jammu and Kashmir Young Mens League, Hurriyat Youth Forum Jammu and Kashmir and Jammu and Kashmir Justice Youth League also called upon the people to observe complete shutdown on the Modi’s proposed visit because he is a terrorist and is involved in genocide of the Kahsmiri people. People were asked to hoist black flags on their houses during his visit. »

Srinagar, February 21 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the President of Peoples Democratic Party, Mehbooba Mufti has urged India to start a dialogue with Pakistan and the Kashmiri people to end bloodshed in the territory.

Mehbooba Mufti talking to media men in Logripora Aishmuqam area of Islamabad district said, “This (the Kashmir issue) is a huge issue and it should be resolved so that the bloodshed in Kashmir stops and the people here live in peace.” »
