Sialkot, November 07 (KMS): The speakers of a conference have said that India first martyred more than 2.5 lakh Muslims in Jammu in 1947 and forced more than 500,000 people to migrate to Pakistan to turn the Muslim majority into a minority under a well-hatch conspiracy.

The speakers of the conference held in connection with Jammu Martyrs Day in Sialkot said now through the 5th August 2019 measures, India wants to change the turn the Muslim majority in the Kashmir valley into a minority.

The conference was organised under the auspices of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter. Convener, Muhammad Hussain Khateeb chaired the conference. »

Srinagar, November 06 (KMS): Kashmiris on both sides of the Line of Control (LoC) and the world over are observing the Jammu Martyrs’ Day, today, with renewed pledge to thwart Indian machinations and to continue the martyrs’ mission till the realization of their inalienable right to self-determination.

Hundreds of thousands of Kashmiris were massacred by the forces of Maharaja Hari Singh, Indian army and Hindu extremists in different parts of Jammu region while they were migrating to Pakistan during the first week of November in 1947. »

Srinagar, November 03 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Jammu and Kashmir Youth Social Forum General Secretary Zubair Hassan Mir along with a delegation visited the residence of martyred commander Dr. Saifullah to pay him tributes.

Dr. Saifullah was martyred by Indian troops during a cordon and search operation in Srinagar on Sunday.

Zubair Mir while addressing the mourners said that loss of life in every situation is highly painful and people of Kashmir continue to suffer and pay with their lives as the Kashmir dispute is not being resolved as per the will of the people of Kashmir. »

Gilgit Baltistan, November 01 (KMS): The people of Gilgit Baltistan (GB) are celebrating their 73rd independence anniversary, today.

It was on this day on November in 1947, when people of Gilgit Baltistan led by the Gilgit Scouts stood against the Dogra Governor, Brigadier Ghansara Singh and arrested him. They also announced the liberation of Gilgit-Baltistan from the Dogra rule and hoisted Pakistan’s national flag.

The regional government has declared an official holiday on the occasion, where rallies and functions highlighting the importance of the day are being organized. »

Srinagar, November 01 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, a delegation of Jammu and Kashmir Youth Social Forum (JKYSF), visited the residence of martyr Javaid Ahmed at Khanda Wampora in Pulwama and expressed solidarity with the bereaved family.

Indian troops martyred Javaid Ahmed recently during a cordon and search operation at Mochva in Budgam.

The delegation comprised JKYSF Vice Chairman, Ghulam Rasool Kaloo, Chief Coordinator, Tauseef Ahmed, Faisal Ahmed and Abdul Satar. »

Muzaffarabad, October 31 (KMS): The Pasban-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir has said that the people of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir have rejected India’s new land law.

Pasban-e-Hurriyat leaders addressing a press conference in Muzaffarabad, today, reiterated that people of IIOJK wanted plebiscite in accordance with the UN resolutions.

They stated that massive public protests against the Indian state terrorism in IIOJK would be held on November 17 in the capital of Azad Jammu and Kashmir. »

Muzaffarabad, October 25 (KMS): The Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) President, Sardar Masood Khan has ruled out any talks with India in the present situation.

Sardar Masood Khan addressing a function in Muzaffarabad said that if India wanted to hold talks, it must withdraw all actions taken about Kashmir after August 5, 2019; cease military operation in the held territory; immediately stop settling non-Kashmiri subjects in the state, and release all political prisoners.

Rejecting bilateral talks with India, the AJK president said, Kashmir is not a bilateral dispute between Pakistan and India, but it has been debated thrice in the UN Security Council during the last one year, and we will never want the Kashmir issue to be dragged from the world body and confine it to Delhi. »

Srinagar, October 18 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian authorities have arrested more than 150 young students in Bandipora district during the past two months.

A delegation from Bandipora while talking to the Chairman of Muslim Conference, Shabbir Ahmed Dar in Srinagar disclosed that the students were arrested during nocturnal raids on their houses by Indian forces.

The delegation informed the Hurriyat leader that besides physically torturing the boys in front of their family members, the forces’ personnel were harassing women and children and ransacking properties during the raids in the disricgt. »

Srinagar, October 16 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Awami Action Committee (AAC) has demanded release of its Chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq from his illegal house detention.

Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, who is also Chairman of Hurriyat forum, has been under illegal house detention since August 5, last year, when the Modi-led Indian communal government repealed Kashmir’s special status and imposed military siege in the territory.

The AAC senior leader, Muhammad Shafi Khan addressing people, today, at historic and central Jamia Masjid in Srinagar said, the situation in IIOJK continues to be worrisome, uncertain and intimidating as the resolution of the Kashmir dispute lingers on and on. He added that since its formation, the AAC has always strived for peaceful resolution of the Kashmir dispute. »
