Jammu, April 05 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) Chairman and former minister Harsh Dev Singh has said that the claims by ruling Bharatiya Janata Party in India that abrogation of Article 370 has ushered in a ‘new era of dawn’ have proved a farce.

Addressing a public meeting at Moutlian Nagrota in Samba area of Jammu region, he regretted that IIOJK had faced worst ever crisis during the past few years. “The development inertia, the crashing economy, back breaking inflation, soaring unemployment, resentment among farmers and border dwellers, bourgeoning culture of corruption etc have made the situation from bad to worse in J&K”, said Singh. »

New Delhi, February 15 (KMS): Former Indian Defence Minister AK Antony has said that the terms of disengagement in both Galwan valley and Pangong Tso areas and the creation of a buffer zone was a surrender of India’s interests.

Addressing a press conference in New Delhi, he said New Delhi is appeasing China by “agreeing to dis-engagment on China’s terms”.

He said, “Please understand the gravity of the situation, disengagement is good but it cannot be at the cost of national security.” He asked the government to disclose its plan to restore status quo ante as on April 2020 along the Line of Actual Control. »

New Delhi, February 09 (KMS): In yet another illegal move made by India vis-a-vis internationally recognized dispute over Jammu and Kashmir, Rajya Sabha, the upper house of Indian parliament, has passed the so-called Jammu and Kashmir Re-Organisation (Amendment) Bill 2021 that seeks to extend applicability of Indian constitution over the territory.

The bill was introduced by Minister of State GK Reddy a week ago.

Apparently the bill seeks to merge the existing cadre for India Services Officers of IIOJK with those of Arunachal Pradesh, Goa, Mizoram, and Union Territory (AGMUT) cadre; however, GK Reddy explained that the real motive behind the tabling of the bill is to ensure the enforcement of the Indian constitution in Jammu and Kashmir. »

Jammu, February 04 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, APHC leader and the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Social Peace Forum (JKSPF), Advocate Devinder Singh Behl has urged India to immediately stop indiscriminate firing on the civilian population living along the Line of Control (LoC) in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

Devinder Singh Behl talking to people during his mass awareness campaign in Sundarbani area of Jammu said that the unprovoked firing of the Indian Army had caused loss of life and property to the Kashmiri people. He said Kashmir is an internationally recognized disputed territory and should be resolved according to the United Nations resolutions. India has illegally occupied the territory and the Kashmiris have been struggling for securing their right to self-determination, he added. »

Islamabad, January 26 (KMS): Foreign Minister, Shah Mahmood Qureshi, has said that international human rights organizations and media are exposing the Indian oppression in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).

In a statement, he said India’s Republic Day is being observed as a Black Day today by Kashmiri people across the world. He said the Kashmiris are protesting as their rights have been usurped.

Shah Mahmood Qureshi said the minorities feel unsafe in India. Instead of democracy, black laws are being imposed in the neighboring country, he added. »

Srinagar, December 28 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Freedom Front, a constituent of the All-Party Hurriyat Conference, has said that the Modi regime wants to forcibly occupy Kashmiris’ lands and settle non-Kashmiris there.

A spokesman for the JKFF in a statement issued in Srinagar said that Kashmiris would never allow India’s nefarious plans to succeed. He said that Kashmir was a disputed territory whose political future was yet to be decided. He said that India was violating international laws and regulations in occupied Jammu and Kashmir. The spokesman said that India was engaged in genocide of Kashmiris and its forces were martyring Kashmiri youth in fake encounters while resistance leaders and activists were imprisoned. »

Srinagar, December 22 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, a meeting of the Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Political Movement was held in Srinagar, which was presided over by APHC leader and party Chairman Khawaja Firdous. The meeting reviewed the current situation in the occupied territory.

Khawaja Firdous while addressing the meeting termed the holding of election drama in the name of District Development Council as a futile exercise. He said that Kashmiri people had rejected these elections and added that India had staged them to deceive the international community. »

Jammu, November 17 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, various political and social organizations have announced to hold an anti-India protest march in Jammu, tomorrow, to condemn imposition of new land and domicile laws by Modi-led fascist Indian government in the territory.

The announcement for anti-India march was made during a meeting organized by Jammu and Kashmir United Peace Movement in Jammu. It was attended by senior leaders of Jammu-based political and social organizations. »

Srinagar, November 09 (KMS) (KMS): In Indian Illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, in order to speed up the process of demographic change, the Modi-led fascist Indian government has identified at many places more land for establishment of camps and colonies for its forces and government employees.

Revenue officials have marked over 500 kanals of land just in Chitterhama and Khimber highlands of Srinagar for CRPF personnel. The locals told media that the forcibly snatched land was comprised of meadows and pastures, which was meant for grazing of their animals. »

Muzaffarabad, November 09 (KMS): An important meeting of various political and religious parties and civil society organizations was held in Muzaffarabad, today, against the worst kind of atrocities and human rights violations by Indian troops on innocent Kashmiris in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).

The participant of the meeting rejected all unilateral measures taken by the Indian government in IIOJK, calling them a violation of the UN Charter and basic human rights. It was said in the meeting that only people of IIOJK reserve the right to decide their political future. The meeting also discussed malicious measures taken by the Indian rulers such as division of Kashmir into union territories, planned attacks on the Muslim identity of the territory and issuance of domicile to Indian citizens. »
