Srinagar, December 02 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, thousands of people attended the funeral prayers of a martyred youth, Shabbir Ahmed Dar, in Thokerpora area of Pulwama.

Shabbir Ahmed Dar along with three other youth was killed by Indian troops during a cordon and search operation in Futlipora area of Budgam on Thursday. Local people said that Shabbir’s face was badly damaged.

The participants of the funeral waved Pakistani flags and chanted pro-Pakistan, pro-freedom and anti-India slogans. Shutdown was observed in Pulwama to mourn the killing of the youth. Complete strike was also observed in Pakherpora, Dalwan, Charar-e-Sharief and other adjoining areas in Budgam to mourn the killing of the youth. »

Hurriyat leaders express grief over demise of Sheikh Kabir

Srinagar, December 02 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Abdul Kabir Sheikh, the father of martyred prominent freedom leader, Abdul Hameed Sheikh, passed away in Srinagar.

Abdul Kabir Sheikh breathed his last at his residence in Batamaloo area of Srinagar on Thursday night.

Thousands of people belonging to all walks of life including Hurriyat leaders and activists attended the funeral prayers of the deceased. »

Srinagar, November 25 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the residents of Pampore town offered funeral prayers in absentia for the youth who were martyred by Indian troops in different areas of the territory during the ongoing month of November.

Scores of people gathered in the lawns of Khankah-e-Muala, Pampore, and offered funeral prayers in absentia for the youth martyred in Bandipora, Kupwara, Kulgam and Pulwama districts during this month. The prayers were led by Maulana Riyaz Hamdani. »

Srinagar, November 21 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, thousands of people participated, today, in the funeral prayers of a martyred youth in Tral area of Pulwama district.

The youth, Aadil Rasheed Chopan, was martyred by Indian troops in Seer area of Tral, yesterday.

Thousands of people assembled at the martyrs’ graveyard in Lurow, the native area of the martyred youth, in Tral and attended his funeral prayers. Emotional scenes were witnessed as the body of 17-year-old Aadil Rasheed Chopan was carried to the graveyard. Women were seen beating their chest while men raised pro-freedom and anti-India slogans. Four members of mujahid organization, Hizbul Mujahideen, surfaced at the funeral of the martyred youth and offered a gun salute to him. »

Srinagar, November 08 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, amid complete shutdown in most parts of Pulwama district, thousands of people thronged Drabgam area of Lassipora to attend the funeral of a martyred youth, Waseem Ganai.

Waseem was martyred along with two associates by Indian troops during a cordon and search operation in Aglar area of Pulwama on Monday night.

Despite an internet gag in Pulwama district, thousands of people assembled in Drabgam village soon after the news of Waseem’s killing spread. »

Srinagar, August 18 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, funeral prayers in absentia were held at the Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST) in Awantipora, Pulwama, for a martyred B-Tech engineering student, Irfan Sheikh.

Hundreds of students attended the funeral prayers following which they held protests in the university campus.

“The students raised pro-freedom and pro-Pakistan slogans during the protests, which lasted through the better part of the day,” a student at the university said. »

Srinagar, August 17 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, despite restrictions, thousands of people participated in the funeral of a martyred youth, Muhammad Ayub Lone, in Pulwama district, today.

Eyewitnesses said that thousands of people from dozens of villages marched towards Lelahaar – the ancestral village of Ayub Lone – in the district despite restrictions imposed by the puppet authorities. They said that the mourners waved Pakistani flags and raised high-pitched pro-Pakistan, pro-freedom and anti-India slogans. »

One lac people attend Ittoo’s funeral

Srinagar, August 14 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Pakistan’s Independence Day was celebrated with the singing of Pakistan’s national anthem and shouting of “Long Live Pakistan” slogans in Srinagar, Shopian, Islamabad, Pulwama, Kulgam, Badgam and other districts of the territory, today.

Special prayers were offered for safety and integrity of Pakistan and freedom of Jammu and Kashmir from illegal occupation of India. Dukhtaran-e-Millat arranged Independence Day functions in several areas of the territory. Parades were held while Pakistan flag was hoisted in the length and breadth of the territory. Syed Ali Gilani, Shabbir Ahmad Shah, Masarrat Aalam Butt, Aasiya Andrabi, Dr Qasim Faktoo and others in their messages greeted the people and the Government of Pakistan on the Day. Syed Ali Gilani said that the Kashmiris were highly grateful to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan for extending its wholehearted moral, political and diplomatic support to their just cause of freedom. He said that Pakistan was the only hope for the people of Jammu and Kashmir. »

Srinagar, August 10 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, thousands of people participated in the separate funerals of martyrs Zahid Ahmad Butt, Ishaq Ahmed, Muhammad Ashraf Dar, and a 17-year young boy Muhammad Younus Sheikh in Tral areas, today.

The funerals were offered in Nawdal, Batgund, Trich and Saimoh areas of Tral town. The martyrs were laid to rest amid pro-freedom and anti-India slogans.
