Srinagar, December 05 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Pakistani wives of Kashmiri youth staged a peaceful protest demonstration in Kupwara and urged the Indian government and the occupation authorities of the territory to take concrete steps for their dignified rehabilitation.

The protesting women assembled in front of the Deputy Commissioner’s office in Kupwara and raised slogans against the occupation authorities for not redressing their grievances. They said that they had arrived in the Valley five years back with their Kashmiri husbands. »

Srinagar, December 04 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference has said that stepped up cordon and search operations by Indian troops have made the life of the people of the territory a hell.

The APHC General Secretary, Molvi Bashir Ahmed in a statement issued in Srinagar said that India’s brutal actions including use of military force in the occupied territory posed a serious threat to peace and security in the region. He said that Narendra Modi-led Indian fascist government had intensified its efforts to impose the Hindutva agenda of RSS in the territory. The APHC General Secretary said that the communal Indian government was attacking IIOJK in a planned manner to change its Muslim identity. He made it clear that India would never succeed in suppressing the Kashmiris’ liberation sentiment and they would continue their freedom struggle till complete success. »

Srinagar, December 04 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) has said that India has intensified the process of imposing anti-Islam and anti-Kashmir measures to further its nefarious agenda in the territory.

Srinagar, December 04 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Chairman of International Forum for Justice and Human Rights, Muhammad Ahsan Untoo has decried that the poor medical facilities available in Central Jail, Srinagar.

Muhammad Ahsan Untoo, who was released from jail this year after over one year long illegal detention, in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the lack of medical treatment and non-availability of proper consultation in the prisons of IIOJK and India had caused death to several jail inmates.

He said, the Medical Superintendent of the jail doesn’t provide ambulance to detainees for hospital outside the jail for proper consultation and treatment. In every jail ambulances are available under the control of jail superintendent for emergency treatment but these ambulances are mostly used for officials’ families while the inmates are hardly given services, he said. »

Srinagar, December 02 (KMS): In the early 1990s, Ahanger’s life was like any other ordinary mother in Srinagar, the capital of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), until her eldest son Javaid, a teenager in high school, was picked up by Indian forces from their home. Ahanger never saw her son again.

Javaid Ahanger is just one of thousands of young men who were forcibly taken away by Indian forces. To this day, many families do not know what happened to their disappeared relatives. »

Jammu, November 28 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Chairman of Pir Panjal Freedom Movement Qazi Muhammad Irshad has appealed to Kashmiris to boycott the so-called District Development Council elections to convey to the international community that they do not want elections but freedom from India’s illegal occupation.

Srinagar, November 28 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Jammu and Kashmir International Forum for Justice and Human Rights Chairman, Mohammad Ahsan Untoo has strongly condemned the Indian occupational authorities for arresting pellet victims with serious health issues under draconian laws.

Mohammad Ahsan Untoo in a statement issued in Srinagar said, from 5th August 2019, twenty six such cases were reported by IFJHR in the territory.

Few among these pellet victims arrested by the brutal Indian forces include Mudassir Ahmad Dar, Altaf Hussain Mir, Danish Habib, Mohammad Aqib, Tawseef, Umar, Sameer Ahmed, Bilal Hajam, Abid Hussain, Farooq Sofi and Aijaz Ahmed Mir who are lodged in different jails for the past more than one year. »

An analytical report released by Kashmir Media Service, today, said Indian forces are involved in worst form of state terrorism in IIOJK. New Delhi has intensified its oppression since 5 August 2019 in IIOJK. It said that 256 Kashmiris killed since 5 Aug, last year to 31 October 2020 in the occupied territory. »
