Srinagar, January 05 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred three Kashmiri youth in Srinagar, today.

The troops martyred the youth during a cordon operation in Lawaypora-Shalteng area of Srinagar.

Earlier, one Indian soldier was killed and another was injured in an attack in the same area.

Soon after the incident, Indian police and troops cordoned off the area and launched searches. Further details are awaited.

Meanwhile, Indian troops launched a cordon and search operation in Bugam area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district, today.

Srinagar, February 05 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops have martyred 65 Kashmiris including 2 women and 4 young boys during the ongoing 6-month long siege and lockdown in the territory.

According to a report released by the Research Section of Kashmir Media Service, today, on the completion of six months of unprecedented military lockdown, today; of those martyred seven youth were killed in fake encounters or custody. India had revoked the special status of occupied Kashmir on 5th August, last year, and put the territory under military siege. »

Srinagar, February 4 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, an Indian army vehicle hit and critically injured five persons, including a woman and a teenage girl in Islamabad district, today.

An over-speeding Indian army vehicle deliberately hit a car in Wangund Qazigundarea of the district.

A police officer while confirming the incident said that all Injured were shifted to Emergency Hospital Qazigund (EHQ) and one critically injured was shifted to SMHS hospital in Srinagar.

Srinagar, February 04 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, a police constable and his brother were found dead under mysterious circumstances in Srinagar.

The deceased constable and his physically-challenged brother were identified as Sumeerji Koul and Veerji Koul, respectively. Their bodies were recovered from their residential apartment in the police complex at Zewan on the outskirts of Srinagar. »

Srinagar, February 01 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, APHC leader and the Chairperson of Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Khawateen Markaz, Yasmeen Raja, has paid glowing tributes to martyred teenager, Wamiq Farooq, on his tenth martyrdom anniversary.

Wamiq Farooq was martyred on January 31 in 2010 when he was hit by a teargas shell fired at him by the Indian police in Rajouri Kadal area of Srinagar.

A function was held at the residence of the martyred Wamiq Farooq to mark his martyrdom anniversary. Addressing the gathering, Yasmeen Raja said that the Kashmiri martyred had laid down their lives for a sacred cause of freedom and their sacrifices would not be allowed to go waste. »

Srinagar, February 01 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops in their unabated acts of state terrorism martyred 21 Kashmiris in the last month of January.

According to the data issued by the Research Section of Kashmir Media Service, today, during the month, 14 people were critically injured due to the firing of pellets, bullets and teargas shells by Indian police and paramilitary personnel on peaceful demonstrators in the occupied territory. As many as 104 civilians, mostly youth and Hurriyat activists, were arrested and several of them were booked under black law Public Safety Act, during the period. »

Srinagar, January 31 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred three Kashmiri youth in Jammu district, today.

The youth were martyred after Indian troops intercepted a Srinagar-bound truck at Bann toll plaza on Jammu-Srinagar highway in Nagrota area of the district and fired at the vehicle. The troops cordoned off the area and started a search operation, which continued till last reports came in.

The troops and police arrested two persons including driver of the truck, a police official said.

Earlier one Indian policeman was critically injured in an attack in the same area. The Srinagar-Jammu Highway has been closed for traffic, a traffic police official told media men.

Meanwhile, the troops launched cordon and search operations in several areas of Kupwara, Bandipora, Baramulla, Pulwama, Shopian, Islamabad, Kulgam, Kishtwar, Ramban, Rajouri and Poonch districts.
