Srinagar, April 12 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference Working Vice Chairman, Ghulam Ahmad Gulzar has said that the overall situation in the occupied territory presents the most volatile phase of suppression and oppression at the hands of Indian military might and fascist Indian rulers.

Ghulam Ahmad Gulzar in a statement issued in Srinagar said that India has pushed to the wall people, in general and the youth in particular, by adopting barbaric and inhuman behavior violating all norms of humanity and civilised culture. »

Srinagar, April 11 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir,
former Special Police Officer (SPO) and brother of Head Constable was on Sunday shot dead by unknown gunmen at Magam area of Central Kashmir’s Badgam district.

An official told media that unknown gunmen fired upon a former SPO at his home in Magam area, leaving him severely wounded.

The man, who was attacked is also brother of a Head Constable, a top police official said. »

Islamabad, April 10 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the death and destruction by Indian troops is continuing unabated in the territory.

A report released by Kashmir Media Service, today, maintained that killings, raids, detentions, torture and destruction of property have become a norm in IIOJK. It said that 7 Kashmiri youth fell to Indian bullets in recent violent military operations in Pulwama and Shopian districts.

The report pointed out that brutal Indian troops have martyred 95,768 Kashmiris since January 1989 till date to suppress the ongoing freedom movement in IIOJK. »

Srinagar, April 10 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, two persons were killed and three others injured in a road accident in Ramban district of Jammu region.

The incident occurred when a bus carrying the employees of a company, working on the Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Rail Link (USBRL) project, fell into a deep gorge in Sangaldan area of the district. »

Srinagar, April 09 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, an Indian soldier was killed in an attack in South Kashmir’s Islamabad district, today.

The soldier identified as Muhammad Saleem Khan was critically injured when unidentified gunmen fired upon him in Jablipora area of Bejbhera. He was shifted to Government Medical College, Islamabad, where he was declared brought dead. »

Srinagar, April 09 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Hurriyat leaders and organizations have strongly denounced the killing of youth by Indian troops in Pulwama and Shopian districts.

The Chairman of Democratic Political Movement (DPM) Khawaja Firdous in a statement issued in Srinagar said, the forces’ personnel have been given unbridled powers under Armed Forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA) to kill people, especially youth, to spread terror among the population to keep them away from the ongoing freedom struggle.

Surge in Indian state terrorism in IIOJK denounced

Srinagar, April 09 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh acts of state terrorism martyred four more Kashmiri youth in Shopian and Pulwama districts, today, taking the number of the martyred youth in the territory to 7 since yesterday.

The troops martyred two more youth during the continued cordon and search operation in Jan Mohalla area of Shopian. The troops killed three youth in the same area, last evening. The troops also damaged a mosque in the area during the operation. Indian troops martyred two other youth during a similar operation at Naibugh in Pulwama district, today. The violent military operations at both the places were going on till last reports came in. The killings of the youth triggered forceful anti-India protests in Shopian and Pulwama areas. The protesters raised high-pitched anti-India and pro-freedom slogans. Indian police and paramilitary personnel fired pellets and teargas shells to disperse the protesters, injuring several of them. »

Delhi has already stopped journalists from operating freely in IIOJK: Untoo

Srinagar, April 08 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, media bodies have unanimously voiced concern over the statement of the Inspector General of Police, asking media persons not to come closer to the sites of cordon and search operations (CASOs) and conduct the coverage of such situations.

Soon after a cordon and search operation on Tuesday night in Srinagar’s Gulab Bagh area, a statement issued through two local news agencies quoted the IGP of Kashmir, Vijay Kumar, saying that the media persons should not come closer to such sites and they should not carry live coverage of these situations. »

Srinagar, April 06 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, an Indian soldier committed suicide in Srinagar.

The soldier of Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) ended his life by jumping from 5th floor of the building of his camp in Dignibal area of the city.

This incident raised the number of such deaths amongst Indian troops and police personnel to 499 in IIOJK since January 2007 till date.

Srinagar, April 02 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred three Kashmiri youth in Pulwama district, today.

The troops martyred the youth during a cordon and search operation in Kakapora area of the district. The troops also blasted a house with explosive material during the operation.

The killing of the youth triggered forceful anti-India demonstrations in the area. Several persons, including a woman, were injured, some of them critically, due to the firing of bullets, pellets and teargas shells by the troops on the demonstrators. »
