Srinagar, January 31 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred three Kashmiri youth in Jammu district, today.

The youth were martyred after Indian troops intercepted a Srinagar-bound truck at Bann toll plaza on Jammu-Srinagar highway in Nagrota area of the district and fired at the vehicle. The troops cordoned off the area and started a search operation, which continued till last reports came in.

The troops and police arrested two persons including driver of the truck, a police official said.

Earlier one Indian policeman was critically injured in an attack in the same area. The Srinagar-Jammu Highway has been closed for traffic, a traffic police official told media men.

Meanwhile, the troops launched cordon and search operations in several areas of Kupwara, Bandipora, Baramulla, Pulwama, Shopian, Islamabad, Kulgam, Kishtwar, Ramban, Rajouri and Poonch districts.

Srinagar, January 20 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism, martyred three Kashmiri youth in Shopian district, today.

The troops used heavy weapons and chemical gunpowder and destroyed a house during a cordon and search operation in Wachi Letter area of the district. Three youth were killed in the operation, which is underway, according to the police.

The Indian forces have blocked all entry and exit points and have started house-to-house searches in the area.

Jammu, January 15 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred one more Kashmiri youth in Doda district of Jammu region, today.

The troops martyred the youth identified as Haroon Hamad during a cordon and search operation in Gundara area of the district.

Indian police claimed that Haroon Hamad was a mujahid commander, who was killed during an encounter with the troops.

Srinagar, January 15 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, a soldier of Indian Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) committed suicide after killing his one colleague and injuring another in Udhampur town.

A Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) constable, V N Murthy, opened fire at his colleagues, constables Muhammad Tasleem and Sanjay Thakrey, after losing temper during a heated argument over some issue, causing critical injuries to both of them, a police official said. He said that the incident occurred inside a camp at Sui Jakhar in Udhampur.

V N Murthy also shot himself with his service rifle as other personnel rushed to the scene after hearing the gunshots, the official said. »

Srinagar, January 14 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, at least eight people including three Indian soldiers were killed when they were buried in an avalanche in Ganderbal, Kupwara and other districts, today.

Five persons including a villager and his two sons died after an avalanche hit Kulan- Gagangeer in Sonmarag area of Gandarbal district.

The area is cut off from Srinagar by road while the rescue teams have been sent to area by foot, a local official said. »
