Islamabad, December 06 (KMS): Speakers at a webinar expressed serious concern over the continued gross human rights violations and the violation of international laws by the Modi-led fascist Indian government in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir and urged the United Nations and world human rights groups to take notice of the worst situation in the occupied territory.

The webinar on “The Indian machinations in IIOJK and the way forward” was organized by Monthly Kashmir Update, published by journalists from IIOJK. The event was moderated by senior Kashmiri journalists, Nabi Baig and M. Ashraf Wani. »

Islamabad, December 04 (KMS): Speakers of a seminar held in Islamabad, today, strongly denounced the Indian atrocities on the people of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

The seminar titled “Role of Kashmiri Diaspora to raise Kashmir issue with engagement of international community” was organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Self-Determination Movement International (JKSDMI).

The speakers said that Indian troops were killing and arresting innocent Kashmiris to suppress their ongoing liberation movement. They said that many Hurriyat leaders and activists had been languishing in different jails of India and the territory in false and concocted case and they were not being provided basic facilities including medical treatment. »

Islamabad, November 25 (KMS): Speakers at a seminar held under the aegis of Kashmir Institute of International Relations (KIIR) in Islamabad on Wednesday urged the global community to stop use of sexual violence against women in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir as a weapon of war by Indian troops to suppress Kashmiris’ legitimate struggle for right to self-determination.

The seminar titled “Remembering the Women and Girl Victims of State Terrorism in Indian occupied Kashmir” was held to commemorate the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against women. It was attended and addressed by rights activists, members of civil society, intellectuals, legal experts, University students and leaders hailing from both sides of the Line of Control. »

Islamabad, November 06 (KMS): Azad Jammu and Kashmir President, Sardar Masood Khan, describing November 6, 1947 as the blackest day in the history of Kashmir, said 73 years ago on this day tens of thousands of men, women and even children were callously butchered for demanding freedom and liberty.

“We mark November 6, 1947, as the darkest day in the history of Jammu and Kashmir. On that day and in the months of October and November 1947, the Dogra Army, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and the Indian National Army massacred 237,000 Muslims,” he said in a message on the eve of Jammu Martyrs Day being observed today, by Kashmiris living on both sides of LoC, Pakistan and all over the world.

Muzaffarabad, October 28 (KMS): A round table seminar was organized by Institute of Dialogue, Development & Diplomatic Studies (IDDDs) in Muzaffarabad in connection with the Kashmir Black Day.

A presentation was given on power point about the structures of Indian occupation in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. It is main difference how democracy flourished in AJK with the support of masses who enjoy freedom.

The speakers said that Pakistan had empowered AJK people while as India needed land of Kashmir not the people. “We must use tools of freedom to unchain Indian occupation. We must stand with Pakistan as India is involved in genocide and demographic terrorism in Kashmir. We must strengthen Pakistan internally as our forces though meager in number are guarding our boarders,” they said. »

Islamabad, October 09 (KMS): Speaker National Assembly, Asad Qaiser, has said that Pakistan’s support to the Kashmir cause on every regional and international forum will continue till the resolution of the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the Kashmiris’ aspirations.

Addressing the 15th anniversary of the establishment of Kashmir Orphan Relief Trust (KORT) in Mirpur, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, on Friday, he resolved to utilize all possible channels to highlight and sensitize the world about atrocities being committed on innocent Kashmiri people in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. He said the Indian brutalities will not last longer and the people of Kashmir will soon get their basic right of self-determination. »

Islamabad, October 05 (KMS): President Azad Jammu and Kashmir Sardar Masood Khan Sunday said India could not suppress Kashmiris struggle for liberation with use of force. Addressing the launching ceremony of ‘La Makan’ book, he said Kashmiris struggle for independence had been gaining momentum with each passing day.

‘La Makan’ was a poetry book, written by Chairperson of Friends of Kashmir International’s United States chapter Ghazala Habib. »

Islamabad, Oct 01 (KMS): India is moving away from United Nations resolutions but International humanitarian law is still applicable under present circumstances of Kashmir conflict, said experts at a webinar hosted by Legal Forum for Kashmir (LFOVK).

An associate professor from LUMS and International law expert, Dr Sikandar Ahmed Shah, said that Kashmiri armed rebels are combatants and are fighting for the right of self-determination of Kashmir which has been under illegal occupation since 1947. »

Islamabad, September 06 (KMS): The All Parties Hurriyet Conference Azad Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter has paid glowing tributes to the martyrs of September 6, 1965 saying these martyrs laid their lives for a greater cause and their bravery and courage is part of the glorious chapter of Pakistan’s history.

The APHC-AJK organized a seminar in Islamabad to remember the martyrs on Pakistan’s Defense Day, today. The event was chaired by Mustafa Mohammad Hussain Khateeb.

The speakers on the occasion thanked Pakistan for its moral, political, diplomatic and political support to the Kashmir cause and prayed for the prosperity and stability of Pakistan. They said strong Pakistan is the guarantee to the freedom of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. »

Islamabad, August 22 (KMS): President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Sardar Masood Khan has said Pakistan is incomplete without Kashmir.

Addressing a seminar organised here by the Islamic Research Institute at the International Islamic University, he also said the residents of Indian-held Kashmir were being swamped by non-natives and looters through Modi government’s illegal settlement plan.

The AJK president urged academia to use research and technology to fight for the Kashmir cause. »
