Geneva, July 08 (KMS): The Kashmir Roadside Roundtable organized by the Organisation of Kashmir Coalition (OKC) in Geneva demanded constitution of an independent enquiry commission to investigate all the crimes committed by Indian forces in occupied Kashmir and a panel discussion on the UN Report in the Human Rights Council.

The roundtable was held in continuation of OKC’s Kashmir Freedom and Human Rights campaign outside the United Nations near the famous broken chair in the UN Square. »

Brussels, June 12 (KMS): Speakers at a welcome get together while opposing the Indian government’s de-limitation plan have said that the move is aimed at abrogating Kashmir specific Articles 370 and 35-A to change the demographic composition of occupied Kashmir.

The event was organized by MEP Professor Klaus Buchner in Brussels in honour of the newly elected parliamentarians in the European Parliament in collaboration with the Organization of Kashmir Coalition (OKC). A number of other MEPs including Anna Michelle Assimakopoulou, Chris Davies, Bernhard Zimniok, Phil Bennion, MEPs advisors and assistants, parliamentary officials, policy advisors, Kashmiri representatives, heads of non-governmental organizations and journalists attended the function. »

Islamabad; May 24 (KMS): The Senate Foreign Affairs Committee, Palestine, Kashmir and Rohingya Parliamentary Forum and Palestine Foundation Pakistan held a seminar “Palestine Conflict: Quest for a solution” at Pakistan Institute for Parliamentary Services (PIPS), Islamabad.

The speakers reaffirmed that Pakistan would continue its all-out support to the struggles of right to self-determination underway in Palestine and Kashmir. They also highlighted the state terrorism unleashed by India in occupied Kashmir. »

Muzaffarabad, April 25 (KMS): The Azad Jammu and Kashmir chapter of Hurriyat leaders have said that anti-Muslim policies of Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi are a challenge for world conscious and a threat to global peace.

Hurriyat leaders addressing a function held in connection with the 30th Foundation Day of Jammu and Kashmir Muslim League (JKML) at a local hotel stressed the need to raise voice against Indian state terrorism in Kashmir. They said Pakistan is not only the pleader of Kashmir dispute but also a party to it. »

Tehran, February 06 (KMS): A conference held in Qom city of Iran has urged India and Pakistan to enter into dialogue to resolve the long-pending Kashmir dispute.

The conference was held to express unity with the Kashmiris on Kashmir Solidarity Day and was organised by Tehreek-e-Ittehad Ummat Jammu and Kashmir, International Wilayat Mission and Majlis Branch of Majlis-e-Wahdat Muslimeen in Qom.

The event was presided over by Dr Syed Shafqat Zaidi, a member of Majlis Wahdat Pakistan. During his speech at the conference, he condemned the killings of Muslims in Kashmir and other countries. He urged Muslim communities to support people of Kashmir openly. »

Islamabad, January 15 (KMS): Speakers at a seminar in Islamabad, today, paid glowing tributes to the subjugated but determined masses of occupied Kashmir for their resilience, courage and determination in the face of Indian brutality and state-repression.

The seminar titled “The Freedom Struggle of Kashmir & Role of Shabbir Ahmed Shah” was held under the aegis Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party, headed by illegally detained senior APHC leader, Shabbir Ahmed Shah. Srinagar, December 11 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Syed Ali Gilani has called for tabling the UN report on human rights violations in the occupied territory for discussion both in General Assembly as well the Security Council of the United Nations.

Syed Ali Gilani while addressing a seminar in Islamabad, Pakistan, through videoconference said, Kashmir is a long-pending issue awaiting the final dispensation in accordance with the agreed UN resolutions. He said Kashmir is neither any territorial conflict nor a border dispute, but a humanitarian issue concerning the future of more than 15 million people of Jammu and Kashmir. »

Islamabad, November 30 (KMS): Pakistan Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry advised the government of India, today, to accept that the Kashmir issue has no military solution.

Fawad Chaudhry was addressing a seminar held by All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter in Islamabad.

He said freedom and Kashmiris’ love for Pakistan is a sentiment felt in the heart, a narrative of the heart. »
