Islamabad, April 06 (KMS): Kashmir Solidarity Day is being observed today across the country to condemn the ongoing Indian state terrorism in occupied Kashmir and to express support to the Kashmiris in their just struggle for securing their inalienable right to self-determination.

The decision to observe the Solidarity Day was taken by the Federal Cabinet at its meeting held in Islamabad under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on Monday following the killing of innocent people by the Indian troops in occupied Kashmir on Sunday. »

Islamabad, April 05 (KMS): The government and the people of Pakistan will obseve Kashmir Solidarity Day tomorrow on Friday to express their support to the people of Kashmir, struggling to achieve their inalienable right to self-determination.

Shutdown in IOK, Hurriyat leaders placed under detention

Srinagar, January 26 (KMS): Kashmiris on both sides of the Line of Control and across the world are observing Indian Republic Day, today, as Black Day in protest against India’s continued denial of Kashmiris’ right to self-determination.

The day is being marked with a complete shutdown in occupied Kashmir and anti-India rallies and demonstrations in world capitals. Call for observance of the Black Day and shutdown has been given by the Joint Resistance Leadership comprising Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik. The resistance leaders have also called for peaceful demonstrations and rallies across the occupied territory after Friday prayers, today, over the killing spree unleashed by Indian troops across the occupied territory. They have also appealed to imams and khateebs of mosques to highlight in their Friday sermons the illegal occupation of Jammu and Kashmir by India. »

Srinagar, January 19 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) has paid glowing tributes to the martyrs of Gaw Kadal ahead of their martyrdom anniversary.

The DFP in a statement in Srinagar said Kashmir is a land of tragedies where Indian forces have committed massacres in every nook and corner of the territory. It said that more than 50 innocent people were killed in Gaw Kadal area of Srinagar on January 21, 1990 when Indian troops resorted to indiscriminate firing on peaceful demonstrators who were protesting against the molestation of several women by the troops on the previous night. »
