Srinagar, January 20 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Hurriyat leaders and organizations continued to pay tributes to the victims of Gaw Kadal massacre on the eve of their 31st martyrdom anniversary.

Jammu and Kashmir Tehreek-e-Muzahamat Chairman Bilal Ahmed Sidiqui in a statement while reiterating appeal for complete strike in Srinagar, tomorrow, said that the Gaw Kadal was one among the worst massacres carried out by Indian occupational forces in Jammu and Kashmir.

Terming the month of January as the deadliest month for the Kashmiris, he maintained that the worst massacres like massacres of Gaw Kadal, Sopore, Kupwara and Handwara took place in the occupied territory, which claimed hundreds of lives of innocent Kashmiri civilians. »

Srinagar, January 19 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian government has constituted a committee for conducting the auction of 13 structures to facilitate the construction of separate colonies in the name of transit accommodation for Kashmiri Pandit employees in Baramulla district.

The committee is headed by Additional District Development Commissioner, Baramulla. The seven-member committee has been asked to fix the Reserve Price for the bid as per laid down norms before the auction of the structures. »

Srinagar, January 18 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Tehreek-e-Wahdat-e-Islami has said that the WhatsApp messages of Arnab Goswami, the head of Republic Television in India, have once again exposed the ugly face of Modi government.

Tehreek-e-Wahdat-e-Islami spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the said messages have sealed the fact that the February 14, 2019, attack on the Indian paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force in Pulwama district was staged by the Modi government itself. He said that Arnab Goswami’s WhatsApp messages were eye-opening to the international community and they proved that the communal government of the Bharatiya Janata Party could go to any length, even killed dozens of its own forces personnel, to defame Pakistan. »

Srinagar, January 18 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Jammu and Kashmir Youth Social Forum have called upon the United Nations to resolve the Kashmir dispute as per its resolutions to end the sufferings of the Kashmiri people at the hands of Indian occupational forces.

Srinagar, January 17 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Employees Movement (JKEM), a constituent of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC), has said that the Indian government killed 40 of its own soldiers by staging a drama of Pulwama attack to defame Pakistan.

The JKEM spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said that similarly Shopian fake drama was also staged to get the prize money, which showed how inexpensive the life of a Kashmiri was for Indian soldiers. »

Islamabad, January 17 (KMS): Zahid Ashraf, Vice-Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Young Mens League, has strongly condemned the forcible disappearance of the party’s three prominent activists from Pulwama in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir by the occupational forces.

Zahid Ashraf in a statement, condemning the detention and subsequent disappearance of JKYML office bearers —Mohammad Sabzaar Butt, Mohammad Jehageer Parray and Qaiser Ahmed Dar— a couple of days ago, said that the detainees were innocent, but the rabid colonial goons picked them up and kept them at some unknown torture camp. »

Srinagar, January 16 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir People League (JKPL) has paid rich tributes to the martyrs of Gaw Kadal massacre.

Over 50 people were killed and hundreds others were injured when Indian troops had opened fire on peaceful protesters in Gaw Kadal area of Srinagar on January 21 in 1990. The demonstrators were protesting against the molestation of several women by the troops in the area. »

Srinagar, January 16 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Chairman of Democratic Political Movement (DPM), Khawaja Firdous, has condemned the surge in arrest spree by Indian troops in the territory ahead of India’s Republic Day, the 26th January.

Khawaja Firdous in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the troops were arresting, harassing and victimizing the Hurriyat activist and youth during house raids and crackdown operations in the territory. He said that the action was aimed preventing the people from holding anti-India demonstrations on the Indian Republic Day. He said that India had no right to celebrate its republic Day in IIOJK as it was holding the territory against the will of the Kashmiri people. »
