Srinagar, October 13 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, senior Hurriyat leader Ghulam Muhammad Khan Sopori has expressed concern over the plight of Kashmiri political prisoners languishing in Indian jails.

Khan Sopori in a statement issued in Srinagar said that political leaders and activists were detained in jails in IIOJK and India under political vendetta. Expressing concern over the deteriorating health of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir Chairman Muhammad Ashraf Sahrai in jail, he said that he was not being provided proper medical facilities. »

Srinagar, October 13 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, International Forum for Justice and Human Rights Chairman Mohammad Ahsan Untoo has demanded sanctions against India to stop the country from carrying out killings and destruction of the property during state-managed encounters in the territory.

Ahsan Untoo in a statement issued in Srinagar said, from 5 August 2019 to 30 September 2020, 960 structures were destroyed by Indian forces after falsely labeling them as militant hideouts. »

New Delhi, October 12 (KMS): Former Indian minister for petroleum and natural gas and member of the Congress party, Mani Shankar Aiyar has warned that if the measures taken by Narendra Modi and Amit Shah on August 5, 2019 aimed at endangering the demographic composition of the territory are not rectified, “an intifada and even worse can overtake” Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

Mani Shankar Aiyar in an article published in The Wire said, “This is the extent to which Modi and Shah have driven seven million Kashmiris up the wall. ….This was not the situation on August 4, 2019. Srinagar, October 10 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, a Jammu and Kashmir Youth Social Forum (JKYSF) leader, Zubair Hassan Mir, visited Heff area of Shopian and expressed solidarity with the family of a martyred youth, Sajjad Ahmed Malla.

Sajjad Ahmed Malla, along with two other youth, was martyred by Indian troops during a cordon and search operation in Sugan area of Shopian on Wednesday.

Zubair Hassan Mir addressing the mourners paid rich tributes to Sajjad and other martyrs. He deplored that Indian troops were killing innocent youth on daily basis to suppress the Kashmiris’ ongoing freedom struggle. »

Srinagar, October 09 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Chairman of International Forum for Justice and Human Rights Jammu and Kashmir, Muhammad Ahsan Untoo, has said that illegally detained Tehreek-e- Hurriyat Chairman, Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai, is suffering from severe joint pain, hypertension and other ailments as per his medical report.

Muhammad Ahsan Untoo in a statement issued in Srinagar said that Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai needed immediate medical attention but the authorities at Udhampur jail were not provided any medical facility to him as advised by his doctors in Bone and Joint Hospital, Srinagar. »

Srinagar, October 08 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference General Secretary, Molvi Bashir Ahmed, has said that India is imposing various laws and forcibly snatching lands from locals for settling Indian Hindus to change the Muslim majority into a minority in the territory.

Molvi Bashir Ahmed in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the Kashmiris would continue their resistance against change in the demographic composition of IIOJK, issuance of domicile certificates to non-residents, construction of hundreds of thousands of houses for non-locals, massacre of youth and other human rights violations in the territory. He maintained that this struggle would continue until the last Indian soldier leaves IIOJK. »

Srinagar, October 08 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) has paid rich tributes to three Kashmiri youth martyred by Indian troops during a cordon and search operation (CASO) in Sugan areas of Shopian district, yesterday.

The DFP spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said that Indian forces, deployed in length and breadth of the occupied territory, were engaged in genocide of the Kashmiri people. Cordon and search operations, arbitrary arrests, extrajudicial killings and forced disappearance and killing of youth are part of the grand conspiracy aimed at changing the demography of the territory, he said. »
