Indian forces harass family of Yasmeen Raja Srinagar, August 19 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Khawateen Markaz (MKM), a constituent of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, has strongly condemned the assault on two Muslim farmers by Hindu extremists in Reasi district.

APHC leader and the MKM Chairperson, Yasmeen Raja, in a statement in Srinagar said that RSS-BJP communal mindset was targeting Muslims in Jammu region and the Indian police and army authorities were backing such extremists in several districts of Jammu. »

Srinagar, August 19 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the blasphemous remarks by a BJP leader, Satpal Sharma, in Reasi area of Jammu continue to evoke more condemnation.

Jammu and Kashmir National Front (JKNF) while condemning Satpal Sharma has said that the BJP’s Hindutva agenda has started showing its true colours in the occupied. Terming the profane remarks against the Holy Prophet (PBUH) as a big conspiracy, a JKNF spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the nefarious motives behind the highly condemnable act was to stoke communal violence so that bloodthirsty Hindu extremists could find an opportunity to carry out massacre of Muslims in the territory particularly in Jammu region. »

Islamabad, August 19 (KMS): Jammu and Kashmir People’s Freedom League Chairman, Muhammad Farooq Rehmani, has castigated Modi-led fascist regime in India for giving its troops a free hand to use brute force against the people of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir protesting against the derogatory remarks by a BJP stalwart against the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

Jammu, August 15 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, various Sikh leaders and organisations including Sikh Intellectuals Circle J&K, International Sikh Federation, Sikh Students Federation, J&K Sikh Council and the Sikh Youth of J&K have welcomed the decision of Pakistan government for conferring Nishan-i-Pakistan on veteran Kashmiri Hurriyat leader, Syed Ali Gilani.

Srinagar August 13 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Hurriyat leaders and organizations have greeted the people and the government of Pakistan on the eve of their Independence Day.

The Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference, Shabbir Ahmad Dar, in a statement in Srinagar greeting the people of Pakistan prayed for the development and prosperity of the country. He said that while Pakistan had always advocated settlement of the Kashmir dispute, India never demonstrated seriousness and good faith for its resolution. He also called for complete shutdown on India’s Independence Day, August 15, and appealed to the people of IIOJK to boycott all functions related to the event.

Jammu, August 12 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, a delegation of Jammu and Kashmir People’s Association led by its Chairman, Aqib Wani, visited Tarkandi area of Rajouri in Jammu region to express solidarity with the families of three Kashmiri labourers, killed by Indian troops in a fake encounter in Shopian, last month.

The labourers identified as Abrar Gujar, Imtiyaz Gujar and Abrar Khan from Rajouri district were killed by Indian Army’s 62 Rashtriya Rifles in a staged encounter at Keller Amshipora in Shopian district on July 18, 2020. »

Jammu, August 12 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Hurriyat leaders and organizations have strongly condemned the killing of three labourers from Rajouri by Indian Army in a fake encounter in Shopian.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Movement (JKPM) Chairman, Mir Shahid Saleem, in a statement issued in Jammu said that the fake encounters were a common practice by Indian troops in the occupied territory and Shopian incident was one of the most gruesome acts. He wondered that those who killed the innocent boys are now conducting the investigation which is a sheer mockery of justice.

Mir Shahid Saleem demanded a judicial probe by a sitting high court judge into the incident and said that the bodies of the killed youth should be handed over to their relatives. »

Srinagar August 10 (KMS):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Chairman of Democratic Political Movement, Khawaja Firdous, has hailed the statement of former Malaysian Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad on Kashmir wherein he urged the international community to play its role in resolving the dispute in accordance with UN resolutions.

In a statement issued in Srinagar, Khawaja Firdous said that the international community should realize the need to prevent a terrible war between two nuclear-armed neighborly countries, Pakistan and India, in South Asia by resolving the Kashmir issue, which is a bone of contention between the two countries.

He said a lasting peace could not be established in South Asia unless the Kashmir issue was resolved in accordance with the aspirations of the Kashmiri people. »
