Srinagar, November 10 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian troops launched violent cordon and search operation in Shopian district, today.

The troops during a cordon and search operation opened fire on a residential house in Kutpora area of the district.

An official told media men that during a joint cordon and search operation, triggering an encounter. The exchange of fire is going on. »

Srinagar, November 09 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, India is violating all democratic rights enshrined in UN Charter as CASOs, killings, torture, daily humiliations, mass graves have become a norm in the territory.

An analytical report released by Kashmir Media Service, today, said, India claims to be the largest democracy in the world, but the claim is a big fraud. This is what is being experienced by the Muslims, Dalits and other minorities in the territory. In occupied Kashmir, cordon and search operations, killings, torture, daily humiliations and mass graves have become a norm. The report said that New Delhi was violating all democratic rights given under UN Charter in IIOJK on daily basis. The state of democracy inside India is also poor.

Srinagar, November 08 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred three Kashmiri youth in Kupwara district, today.

The troops martyred the youth during a cordon and search operation in Machil area of the district. The operation was going on till last reports came in.

Deputy Inspector General of Border Security Force (BSF), R Muthu Krishnan while talking to the media claimed that the youth were killed during a clash with the troops.

There are reports that an Indian Army officer, two soldiers and a BSF trooper were killed in an attack in the same area. The slain officer was identified as Lieutenant  Aujla.

Jammu, November 08 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the J&K Pradesh Youth Congress (JKPYC) staged a protest against the new land laws notified by the Indian government for the territory.

Led by JKPYC President, Uday Bhanu Chib, the activists assembled outside the party’s head office in Jammu and raised slogans against the BJP-led communal Indian government for its failure to protect the land rights of people of Kashmir.

Talking to reporters in Jammu, Uday Chib strongly condemned the repealing of the J&K land laws and stripping the permanent residents of the territory of exclusive right to acquire and hold immovable property. »

Srinagar, November 07 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Hurriyat leaders have said that the Kashmiris are engaged in a peaceful struggle to secure their right to self-determination and Indian atrocities cannot stop them from achieving their cherished goal.

These leaders said that India was pursuing cruel and ruthless vindictive policies to suppress the Kashmiris’ ongoing freedom struggle but would not succeed in its nefarious designs.

Senior Hurriyat leader, Ghulam Muhammad Khan Sopori, in a statement in Srinagar condemned the continued illegal detention of Hurriyat leaders including Muhammad Yasin Malik, Shabbir Ahmed Shah, Aasiya Andrabi, Masarrat Aalam Butt, Pir Saifullah, Shahid-ul-Islam, Altaf Ahmed Shah, Ayaz Muhammad Akbar, Raja Merajuddin, Nayeem Ahmed Khan, Farooq Ahmed Dar, Naheeda Nasreen and Fehmeeda Sufi in New Delhi’s infamous Tihar jail. He demanded immediate release of all Kashmiri detainees. »

Indian troops martyr 23 Kashmiris in October

Srinagar, November 01 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred a prominent mujhaid commander, Dr Saifullah, in Srinagar, today.

The troops killed Dr. Saifullah during a cordon and search operation in Rangreth area on the outskirts of the city. Inspector General of IIOJK Police Vijay Kumar while talking to media in Srinagar claimed that the martyr was top commander of Hizbul Mujhahideen who was killed during an encounter. He said that one youth was arrested during the operation.

Meanwhile, a report released by the Research Section of Kashmir Media Service, today, said that Indian troops in their continued acts of state terrorism martyred 23 Kashmiris including a woman during the last month of October. Three of the martyrs were killed in fake encounters. At least, 42 people were injured in firing of bullets, pellets and teargas shells by Indian forces’ personnel on peaceful protesters in the territory. Indian police arrested 94 people and destroyed 7 residential houses and structures, while 5 women were molested during the 363 cordon and search operations in different areas in the month. »

Srinagar, November 01 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian troops in their continued acts of state terrorism martyred twenty three (23) Kashmiris including a woman during the last month of October.

According to the data issued by the Research Section of Kashmir Media Service, today, three youth of those martyred were killed in fake encounters.

The killings by the troops rendered two (2) women widowed and three (3) children orphaned.

During the period, at least forty two (42) persons were injured due to the use of brute force including firing of bullets, pellets and teargas shells by Indian troops and police personnel on peaceful protesters in the territory »

Islamabad, November 01 (KMS): The Chairman of Parliamentary Committee on Kashmir, Shehryar Khan Afridi has urged the United Nations to make an immediate intervention into the Indian government’s illegal transfer of land to its Industries and Commerce Divisions in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

Addressing a ceremony in Islamabad, he said that the Indian actions in IIOJK were illegal and in blatant violation of the United Nations resolutions and were aimed at genocide of Kashmiris. »

Kashmiris hailed for showing resentment against Indian moves

Srinagar, October 31 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, normal life was crippled today, due to complete strike against Modi government’s nefarious designs to change the demographic composition of Jammu and Kashmir by allowing Hindus from India to buy land in the territory.

Call for the shutdown was given by the All Parties Hurriyat Conference and Hurriyat forum led by Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and supported by the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front and other pro-freedom organizations. Today’s strike was exemplary as all shops, business establishments and petrol pumps were closed while traffic was off the road in the territory. »

Srinagar, October 30 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, people staged forceful demonstrations, today, to register protest against India’s moves to change the demography of the territory and against the blasphemous caricatures issued by a French magazine.

As the Juma prayers culminated, people took out processions of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) in Srinagar, Badgam, Ganderbal, Islamabad, Pulwama, Shopian, Kulgam, Baramulla, Kupwara and other areas. They raised high-pitched pro-freedom, pro-Islam and anti-India slogans. The occupation authorities disallowed the people to hold night prayers at Hazratbal shrine, last night, in connection with Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH).

On the other hand, complete shutdown will be observed, tomorrow, against Modi government’s plans to convert Muslim majority into a minority by allowing Indian citizens to get settled in the territory. Call for the shutdown has been given by the All Parties Hurriyat Conference and Hurriyat forum led by Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and supported by other pro-freedom organizations. Pertinently, Modi regime has imposed new laws in IIOJK that allow the Indian citizens to own land in the occupied territory. »
