Islamabad, September 20 (KMS): Pakistan Post has issued special postage stamps to portray popular martyred Kashmiri youth leader, Burhan Wani, describing him a Freedom Icon.

Pakistan Post had issued 20 special postage stamps on July 24, this year, to locally and internationally highlight the brutalities of Indian troops on the people of occupied Kashmir engaged in a peaceful struggle to achieve freedom from India’s illegal occupation of their homeland. »

Srinagar, September 14 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir, Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai, has paid glowing tributes to the youth martyred by Indian troops during cordon and search operations.

Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the sacrifices of Kashmiri youth had centre-staged the Kashmir dispute at the international level. He said that India’s intransigence was the main impediment in peaceful settlement of the lingering Kashmir dispute. He said that India had never expressed its willingness to resolve the dispute in its historic and international perspective. »

Islamabad, September 06 (KMS): The All Parties Hurriyet Conference Azad Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter has paid glowing tributes to the martyrs of September 6, 1965.

The APHC-AJK chapter during a meeting in Islamabad, today, eulogized the services of Pakistani forces for safeguarding ideological and territorial borders of the country.

The participants of the meeting strongly condemned the killing of innocent people by Indian troops in occupied Kashmir and said that India could not suppress the Kashmiris’ resolve for freedom through brutal tactics.

They pointed out that peace and stability in South Asia was linked to the settlement of the Kashmir dispute. »

Srinagar, August 30 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) Chairman, Syed Ali Gilani and other Hurriyat leaders have paid rich tributes to Altaf Ahmad Dar and Umar Rashid Wani, who were martyred by the Indian troops in a cordon and search operation in Islamabad town.

Syed Ali Gilani in a telephonic address to mourners, Syed Ali Geelani paid glorious tributes to martyred youth Shaheed Umar Rashid Wani and reiterated his pledge to take the ongoing movement to its logical end. Srinagar, August 10 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyat leaders and organizations have paid glowing tributes to prominent martyred Hurriyat leader, Sheikh Abdul Aziz, on the eve of his martyrdom anniversary.

Sheikh Abdul Aziz was shot dead by the Indian troops on 11th August, 2008, while he was leading a procession from Srinagar to the Line of Control against the economic blockade of the Kashmir Valley by Hindu extremists of Jammu.

The All Parties Hurriyat Conference General Secretary, Ghulam Nabi Sumjhi, in a statement in Srinagar paying homage to Sheikh Abdul Aziz praised him for his commitment and contributions towards the freedom struggle of Kashmir. »

Muhammad Yasin Malik while remembering Syed Irfanul Hassan Shah in a statement said that the martyr strived for the freedom of Jammu and Kashmir from his early youth and sacrificed his life for the sacred cause.
