Islamabad, June 19 (KMS): The Jammu and Kashmir Pir Panjal Freedom Movement (JKPPFM) has paid rich tributes to mujahid Shaheed Muhammad Ismail on his second martyrdom anniversary.

The JKPPFM Vice Chairman, Qazi Muhammad Imran in a statement issued in Islamabad said that Shaheed Muhammad Ismail was a brave and courageous mujahid. “We salute this great martyr,” he added.

He said that Haji Muhammad Azam Shaheed, the father of Shaheed Muhammad Ismail, was also a great mujahid commander, who had been in the forefront of the liberation movement since 1996 and had faced the Indian Army several times. He was martyred along with his associates in Bafaliaz area of Surankote in 2000. »

Srinagar, June 15 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, All Parties Hurriyat Conference leader and Chairperson of the Muslim Khawateen Markaz, Yasmeen Raja, and  Chairman of Youth Social Forum, Umar Aadil Dar have paid glowing tributes to Tasaduq Ameen Shah on his martyrdom anniversary.

Yasmeen Raja and Umar Aadil Dar in their separate statements in Srinagar said that Kashmiri people were heavily indebted to the great sacrifices of their martyrs. They said reiterated that the people of Kashmir would continue to pursue the martyrs’ mission till its logical conclusion. »

Srinagar, June 13 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Patron of Jammu and Kashmir Mass Movement (JKMM), Farida Bahenji, has paid rich tributes to the youth martyred in Kulgam and Islamabad districts by Indian troops during cordon and search operations, today.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Farida Bahenji in a statement issued in Srinagar deplored that the Indian troops were brutally killing the youth on daily basis and the United Nations and the international community must take notice of it. »

Srinagar, June 12 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyat leader, Ghulam Muhammad Khan Sopori and Muhammad Yousuf Naqash, have paid rich tributes to Tufail Mattoo on his martyrdom anniversary.

Tufail Mattoo, a student of 12th class, was killed in Srinagar by Indian troops when he was returning home from tuition in June 2010.

Ghulam Muhammad Khan Sopori in a statement in Srinagar, while paying homage to the 125 persons including Tufail Matoo and Wamiq Farooq, martyred by Indian troops during the 2010 mass uprising, said that the sacrifices of Kashmiris had raised the Kashmir dispute at the international level. »

Srinagar, June 07 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, a delegation led by Jammu and Kashmir Social Peace Forum Chairman, Devinder Singh Behl visited Kerry in Baramulla to express condolence over the death of a prominent Kashmiri personality Justice (retired) Sharif Bukhari, who passed away in Lahore.

Devinder Singh Behl speaking on the occasion said that Justice Sharif had dedicated his entire life for the liberation movement of Kashmir and his services would always be remembered by the Kashmiri people. »

Sikh community will never forget wounds of June 1984

Jammu, June 07 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, various Sikh organisations have paid rich tributes to those killed by Indian troops in 1984 operation, Blue Star.

The Sikh bodies including Sikh Intellectuals Circle Jammu and Kashmir, International Sikh Federation, Sikh Students Federation, Jammu and Kashmir Sikh Council and Gurmeet Taksal said that the Sikh community would never forget the wounds of June 1984 when holiest Darbar sahib in Amritsar was attacked by Indian army and Akal Takhat was totally destroyed.

S. Narinder Singh Khalsa, Chairman, Sikh Intellectuals Circle Jammu and Kashmir, addressing the selective gathering at Gurdwara Baba Fateh Singh, Gandhi Nagar Jammu, said that thousands of Sikhs were brutally killed by Indian army and the Sikhs’ historic structures including Sikh reference library was looted and burnt to destroy our rich history, heritage & culture. »

Srinagar, June 06 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Awami Action Committee (AAC), headed by Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, has paid rich tributes to its leader and socio-political activist, Shaheed-e-Masjid, Molvi Mushtaq Ahmed, on his 16th martyrdom anniversary.

The AAC in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the commemorative function by the organisation to pay tribute him could not take place due to COVID-19 pandemic as well as the continued illegal house detention of patron of party and Hurriyat forum Chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq. »

Srinagar, June 06 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Executive Council of Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) in its condolence meeting held in Srinagar, today, expressed profound grief and sorrow over the demise of party member, Israr Hussain Mir alias Miras-ul-Islam.

Miras-ul-Islam passed away in Rawalpindi on Thursday.

The DFP Executive Council members, terming the death of Miras-ul-Islam a great loss to the party and liberation movement, said that the deceased was a sincere and honest man who always worked tirelessly for the betterment of his organization and the Kashmir liberation movement. »

Srinagar, June 04 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Jammu and Kashmir Youth Social Forum leader, Angad Singh has paid glorious tributes to all Sikh leaders and Sikh Sangat pilgrims who were killed in Indian Army’s operation “Blue Star” in Golden temple from in June 1984.
