Srinagar, March 27 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) has paid glowing tributes to noted Kashmiri lawyer, Advocate Jaleel Ahmed Andrabi, on his martyrdom anniversary.

Advocate Jalil Andrabi was abducted by Major Avtar Singh of the 35th Rashtriya Rifles unit of the Indian Army in Srinagar on March 08, 1996. Three weeks later, his body was found floating in the Jhelum River. An autopsy showed that he was killed days after his arrest.

The JKLF held a condolence meeting in Srinagar, today, to mark the martyrdom anniversary of Jaleel Andrabi. During the meeting sacrifices of prominent Kashmiri martyrs including Ishfaq Majeed Wani, Shabbir Ahmed Sideequi and Doctor Abdul Ahad Guru were also recalled. »

Srinagar, March 25 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Muslim League (JKML) has paid tributes to 12-year-old boy and other martyrs of Sopore, Hajin, Bandipora and Ratnipora.

The JKML General Secretary Muhammad Rafiq Ganaie in a statement issued in Srinagar said, “Our brave youth are sacrificing their lives for the Kashmir cause.” »

Srinagar, March 12 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Syed Ali Gilani and other Hurriyat leaders have paid glowing tributes to the youth martyred by Indian troops during a cordon and search operation in Tral area of Pulwama district on Sunday.

Syed Ali Gilani in a statement issued in Srinagar said, the Kashmir conflict continues to suck the blood of humans. He deplored that only the arrogance and deceitful attitude of the oppressor (India) was responsible for this unending bloodshed. However, he reiterated that people of Kashmir would not compromise this sacred mission of their martyrs. »

Srinagar, February 21 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir Chairman, Mohammad Ashraf Sehrai and other Hurriyat leaders have paid tributes to the youth martyred by Indian troops in Pinglan area of Pulwama district.

Muhammad Ahsraf Sehrai in a statement issued in Srinagar said the killing of the youth in the garb of cordon and search operations was not acceptable. He said, because of the repressive policies of the Indian government Kashmir’s fourth generations have been pushed to the wall. He said insensitivity of the Indian authorities is the sole reason for the unabated bloodshed. »

Srinagar, February 15 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, senior Hurriyat leader, Ghulam Muhammad Khan Sopori has paid tributes to Ghulam Muhammad Bulla, an active freedom fighter of 1970s and prominent Kashmiri liberation leader, Muhammad Maqbool Butt and Muhammad Afzal Guru.

Ghulam Muhammad Khan Sopori addressing a function in Sopore said that the sacrifices of Kashmiri martyrs would not be allowed to go waste. He said that Ghulam Muhammad Bulla, Muhammad Maqbool Butt and Muhammad Afzal Guru sacrificed their lives for Kashmir cause and their mission would be accomplished at all costs.

Ghulam Muhammad Khan Sopori also demanded the return of mortal remains of Muhammad Maqbool Butt and Muhammad Afzal Guri to Kashmir for proper burial. »

Srinagar, February 15 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, thousands of people in Pulwama attended the funeral prayers in absentia for a youth, Aadil Ahmed Dar, who got martyred in an explosion on Srinagar-Jammu Highway.

Over 40 Indian troops were killed and dozens others injured in the blast, which took place in Lethpora area of Pulwama, yesterday.

Thousands of people marched from different villages of south Kashmir towards Gandi Bagh, the native village of Aadil Ahmed Dar, and participated in his funeral prayers in absentia.

Srinagar, February 15 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, a delegation of Jammu and Kashmir Muslim League (JKML) led by party General Secretary, Muhammad Rafiq Ganai visited Kulgam areas and expressed solidarity with the families of the martyred youth, Dr Hilal Ahmed and Engineer Shoaib Ahmed.

The youth were martyred by the troops during a cordon and search operation in Chadoora area of the Budgam district on Wednesday.

Muhammad Rafiq Ganai talking to the mourners deplored that India instead of taking measures to resolve long-pending Kashmir dispute in its historical perspective, wanted to impose its choice on Kashmiris through barrel of gun. He said the ongoing bloodshed in Kashmir is the result of the stubbornness and illogical approach of New Delhi. »

The youth were martyred by the troops during a cordon and search operation at Wathroora in Chadoora area of the district.

Syed Ali Gilani in a statement issued in Srinagar said insensitivity of the Indian authorities is the sole reason for the unabated bloodshed. He said these youth are spilling their hot blood for the great and sacred cause of Kashmir and the people of Kashmir are indebted to the martyrs for their ultimate sacrifice. “It is the collective responsibility of the people of Kashmir and the leadership to take the ongoing freedom movement to its logical conclusion,” he added. »

Srinagar, February 12 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza along with a party delegation visited Arwani area of Islamabad district to express solidarity with the bereaved family members of Idrees Ahmed and other martyrs.

The JKPL in a statement issued in Srinagar said that Mukhtar Ahmad was accompanied by Nisar Ahmed Rather, Fayaz Ahmed, Riyaz Ahmed, Shabbir Ahmed and Mohammad Amir.

Waza while speaking on occasion paid rich tributes to the martyrs and said that the sacrifices offered by the youth were the priceless asset for the ongoing freedom movement. »
