JKPFL condemns harassment of journalist

Srinagar, April 23 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Youth Social Forum (JKYSF) has paid glowing tributes to the youth martyred by Indian troops in Shopian.

Te JKYSF Chairman, Umar Aadil Dar in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the Indian intransigence on the Kashmir dispute had pushed the Kashmiri youth to the wall. He said that India could not suppress the Kashmiris’ ongoing liberation movement by killing innocent youth.

He also appealed to the international human rights organisations including Amnesty International, International Committee of the Red Cross and Asia Watch to take notice of the plight of illegally detained Hurriyat leaders and activists lodged in various jails of India and the territory and put pressure on New Delhi to release them. »

Srinagar, April 18 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyat leader and the Chairman of Islamic Political Party Jammu and Kashmir, Muhammad Yousuf Naqash, has paid glowing tributes to prominent martyred Kashmiri liberation leader, S Hameed Wani, on his martyrdom anniversary.
Indian police had martyred S Hameed Wani during custody on this day in 1998 after arresting him in Soura area of Srinagar.

Muhammad Yousuf Naqash in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the people of the occupied territory would never deviate from the noble mission of achieving their inalienable right to self-determination for which Shaheed S Hameed and other martyrs laid down their precious lives. He said that the best and lasting tribute to the great iconic resistance leader and other Kashmiri martyrs was striving with honesty, commitment and dedication for realising their principled mission.

Muhammad Yousuf Naqash also complimented the great sacrifices of Hurriyat leaders and activists, languishing in jails and interrogation centres of India and the territory for the just cause of right to self-determination promised by the world through the UN resolutions. »

Islamabad, April 17 (KMS): The Vice Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Young Men’s League, Zahid Ashraf, has paid glowing tributes to noted liberation leader, S Hameed Wani, on the eve of his 22nd martyrdom anniversary.

Indian police had arrested S Hamid Wani on April 18, 1998 in Soura area of Srinagar and killed him in custody.

Zahid Ashraf in a statement issued in Islamabad said that martyred S Hameed Wani a sincere and a brave leader who from his early youth took the mission of the freedom of the Kashmiri people from the Indian yoke and even sacrificed his life for this sacred cause. »

Srinagar, April 06 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyat leaders and organizations have paid glowing tributes to the martyrs of Kulgam, Kupwara and other Kashmiri martyrs and denounced India for massacring innocent youth with each passing day.

Hurriyat leader, Farooq Ahmad Tawheedi in a statement in Srinagar said that Jammu and Kashmir had been under India’s brutal occupation for the past many decades and the Muslims of the territory had suffered severe immensely during the period. He said tens of thousands of people are presently facing the worst oppression. He asked India to fulfill its commitment regarding finding out the solution to the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the UN resolutions.

Farooq Ahmad Tawheedi denounced the introduction of a new domicile law for Jammu and Kashmir by India and termed the law a brutal colonial tactic to change the demography of the territory. »

Srinagar, April 05 (KMS): Hurriyat leaders and organizations have paid glowing tributes to four Kashmiri youth martyred by Indian troops in Kulgam district, yesterday.

The troops martyred the youth during a cordon and search operation in Hardmanguri area of Kulgam district yesterday.

The Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference, Shabir Ahmad Dar in a statement in Srinagar paid glowing tributes to the five martyrs of Keran, Kupwara and four martyrs of Kulgam. He said, these proud sons of soil have given loud and clear message to India that their days are numbered in Kashmir. The reign of terror unleashed by India in Jammu and Kashmir is totally against the international laws and human rights declarations, he added. He said, the huge sacrifices offered by these mujahideen will make understand the policy-makers in Delhi that their terror tactics can never bear fruit and they no longer can keep Kashmir under their forcible occupation. »

Srinagar, April 01 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Jammu and Kashmir Youth Social Forum Chairman, Umar Aadil Dar, and General Secretary, Asif Ahmed Baba, have paid glowing tributes to the martyrs of 2018 from South Kashmir.

Indian forces had massacred 13 youth and injured over 100 in a single day in Kachdora, Dragad and Dialgaam areas of Islamabad and Shopian districts on 1st of April in 2018.

On the martyrdom anniversaries of these youth, today, Umar Aadil Dar said, it was another bloodiest day when the people of Kashmir couldn’t stand anymore as silent spectators and came out without any fear to resist India’s illegal occupation. »

Srinagar, March 12 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference (JKMC), Shabbir Ahmed Dar, has paid glowing tributes to Khurshid Hassan Khurshid, commonly known as K H Khurshid, on his 32nd death anniversary.

Khurshid Hassan Khurshid was the personal secretary to Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and was also the first elected President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

Shabbir Ahmed Dar in a statement issued in Srinagar said that late Khurshid was a legendary figure who contributed immensely towards the resolution of the Kashmir dispute. He said that Khurshid Hassan Khurshid also remained in Srinagar jail for two years when he visited occupied Kashmir in November 1947. »

Islamabad, February 11 (KMS): Jammu and Kashmir Mass Movement Vice Chairman Abdul Majeed Mir while paying tributes to the prominent martyred Kashmiri leader, Mohammad Maqbool Butt has said that the martyr was a great freedom leader who lit the candle of freedom movement in occupied Kashmir.

Abdul Majeed Mir in a statement in Islamabad said, the Kashmiri people treading the path of martyr Maqbool Butt was writing a new chapter of history of sacrifices in the occupied territory. »

Srinagar, February 07 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference Chairman, Syed All Gilani, has called for complete shutdown on the occasion of martyrdom anniversaries of liberation leaders, Muhammad Afzal Guru and Muhammad Maqbool Butt (on February 9 and 11) to reaffirm the pledge to carry forward the martyrs’ mission and the freedom movement.

Muhammad Maqbool Butt was hanged by India in New Delhi’s Tihar Jail on 11th February in 1984. Muhammad Afzal Guru was executed in the same jail on 9th February, 2013, for their role in the Kashmir freedom movement. The bodies of the two leaders remain buried in the premises of the jail. »
