Srinagar, February 15 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, a delegation of Jammu and Kashmir Muslim League (JKML) led by party General Secretary, Muhammad Rafiq Ganai visited Kulgam areas and expressed solidarity with the families of the martyred youth, Dr Hilal Ahmed and Engineer Shoaib Ahmed.

The youth were martyred by the troops during a cordon and search operation in Chadoora area of the Budgam district on Wednesday.

Muhammad Rafiq Ganai talking to the mourners deplored that India instead of taking measures to resolve long-pending Kashmir dispute in its historical perspective, wanted to impose its choice on Kashmiris through barrel of gun. He said the ongoing bloodshed in Kashmir is the result of the stubbornness and illogical approach of New Delhi. »

Srinagar, February 14 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC), Syed Ali Gilani, the Hurriyat forum Chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and other Hurriyat leaders and organizations have paid tributes to two Kashmiri youth martyred by Indian troops in Badgam, yesterday.

The youth were martyred by the troops during a cordon and search operation at Wathroora in Chadoora area of the district.

Syed Ali Gilani in a statement issued in Srinagar said insensitivity of the Indian authorities is the sole reason for the unabated bloodshed. He said these youth are spilling their hot blood for the great and sacred cause of Kashmir and the people of Kashmir are indebted to the martyrs for their ultimate sacrifice. “It is the collective responsibility of the people of Kashmir and the leadership to take the ongoing freedom movement to its logical conclusion,” he added. »

Srinagar, February 12 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza along with a party delegation visited Arwani area of Islamabad district to express solidarity with the bereaved family members of Idrees Ahmed and other martyrs.

The JKPL in a statement issued in Srinagar said that Mukhtar Ahmad was accompanied by Nisar Ahmed Rather, Fayaz Ahmed, Riyaz Ahmed, Shabbir Ahmed and Mohammad Amir.

Waza while speaking on occasion paid rich tributes to the martyrs and said that the sacrifices offered by the youth were the priceless asset for the ongoing freedom movement. »

Srinagar, February 09 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) organized a daylong programme at Tarzoo, Sopore, the ancestral home of martyred liberation leader, Muhammad Afzal Guru, on his sixth martyrdom anniversary, today.

Srinagar, February 08 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyat leaders and organisations have paid glowing tributes to prominent Kashmiri liberation leaders, Muhammad Afzal Guru and Muhammad Maqbool Butt, on the eve of their martyrdom anniversaries.

India had sent Muhammad Afzal Guru to gallows in New Delhi’s Tihar Jail on 9th of February, 2013 and Muhammad Maqbool Butt, on 11th of February, 1984 for their role in the ongoing Kashmir freedom movement. Their bodies remain buried in the premises of the jail. »

Srinagar, February 08 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, complete shutdown will be observed, tomorrow, to mark the sixth martyrdom anniversary of Kashmiri youth, Muhammad Afzal Guru.

Call for the shutdown has been given by the Joint Resistance Leadership comprising Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik to press the demand for the handing over of the mortal remains of Muhammad Afzal Guru and renowned Kashmiri liberation leader, Muhammad Maqbool Butt, from New Delhi’s Tihar Jail to occupied Kashmir for decent burial. »

Srinagar, February 08 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyat leaders have paid rich tributes to the youth martyred by Indian troops in Pulwama district.

The youth Irfan Ahmed Shaikh was martyred by the troops during a cordon and search operation at Chakoora in Litter area of the district on Wednesday.

The Chairman of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir, Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai in a statement issued in Srinagar expressed solidarity with the family of martyred Irfan Sheikh. He said the unresolved Kashmir dispute has been a greatest tragedy ranging from a huge death toll, political repression, forced disappearances, a devastated economy, serious environmental damage, massive military buildup, severe psychological distress, torture and suppression of basic freedoms by Indian troops in occupied Kashmir for the past several decades. »

Srinagar, January 25 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyat leaders have paid
rich tributes to youth recently martyred in Budgam ,Shopian and Barramulla by Indian forces personnel and said all these martyrs conveyed a message that they will never surrender despite all atrocities and excesses perpetrated by the forces on them.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Mushtaq-ul-Islam in a statement issued in Srinagar hailed the commitment and steadfastness illustrated by these youth and said, “The blood of innocent people has flowed in Kashmir continuously and forces have broken all-time records of oppression in Kashmir.” »
