Srinagar, October 28 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, a delegation of Jammu and Kashmir Youth Social Forum (JKYSF) visited Soura Anchar area of Srinagar and expressed solidarity with a pellet victim, Abdul Majeed War, brother of illegally detained Meraaj-ud-Din War.

The delegation comprised JKYSF Vice Chairman Ghulam Rasool, Chief Coordinator Tauseef Ahmed, and Shafeeq Ahmed.

Islamabad, October 28 (KMS): To mark 73 years of Indian illegal occupation of Jammu and Kashmir, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs observed Kashmir Black Day at an event focusing on the plight of the children of IIOJK.

The event was the culmination of an inter-school competition, involving participation by more than 600 students from 7 schools chains in Pakistan and abroad. Empathizing with the youth of IIOJK, the participants expressed themselves through artwork, and prose as well as poetry in English and Urdu. Winners in each of the five categories were awarded shields and certificates.

Addressing the occasion, Foreign Minister, Shah Mahmood Qureshi, shed light on the egregious human rights violations in IIOJK, with specific reference to the youth. He stated that the dire humanitarian and human rights condition in IIOJK was above all, a litmus test for humanity. »

Islamabad, October 27 (KMS): The All Parties Hurriyat Conference AJK chapter staged a protest demonstration outside the UN office in Islamabad on the completion of 73 years of India’s illegal occupation over Jammu and Kashmir, today.

The Hurriyat-AJK leaders on the occasion said that the massacre of Kashmiris in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir was the worst example of Indian state terrorism and the rising bloodshed in the territory was the result of unbridled powers granted to the Indian forces. They said that India was conspiring to turn the Muslim majority Jammu and Kashmir into a minority area through changing its demography. They maintained that New Delhi was imposing colonial laws and issuing domiciles to non-Kashmiris to advance its nefarious agenda within a short span of time. »
