Muzaffarabad, September 07 (KMS): A protest demonstration was held in front of the United Nations Military Observer Group in Muzaffarabad, today, to condemn the ongoing Indian military siege and state terrorism in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

The protest was organized by Pasbaan-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir on the completion of 400 days of military siege and state terrorism in IIOJK since August 5, last year. »

Islamabad, September 06 (KMS): Pakistan’s desire for peace must not be mistaken as weakness, rather as, it is to foster economic well-being and prosperity of the people in the region, said Prime Minister Imran Khan on Sunday in his message to the nation on Defence Day of Pakistan annually observed on September 6.

The Prime Minister also maintained that with the abrogation of Articles 370 and 35-A, India had not only violated the UN Charter but has also unleashed a reign of terror on innocent Kashmiris. »

Islamabad, September 06 (KMS): Pakistan has said that Jammu and Kashmir dispute is one of the oldest items on the UN Security Council agenda.

In his tweets, the Foreign Office Spokesperson, Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri, said that India had never implemented UN Security Council resolutions on the disputed territory.

He said, India continues to deny Kashmiris’ inalienable right to self-determination enshrined in the UNSC resolutions. He added that Jammu and Kashmir would remain on the agenda of the UN Security Council until Kashmiris were granted their inherent right to self-determination through a free and impartial plebiscite under the UN auspices.
