Indian troops killed 1,020 since July 2016

Srinagar, July 08 (KMS): Kashmiris on both sides of the Line of Control commemorated the third martyrdom anniversary of popular Kashmiri youth leader, Burhan Muzaffar Wani with the renewed pledge to continue Kashmiri martyrs’ mission, against all odds.

Complete shutdown marked by curfew and other restrictions was observed across occupied Kashmir, today. Call for the strike was given by the Joint Resistance Leadership to pay tributes to Burhan Wani, his associates and other martyrs of 2016 mass uprising. Burhan Wani was martyred by Indian troops in a fake encounter in Kokernag area of Islamabad district on this day in 2016. Islamabad, July 08 (KMS): A walk was held from China Chowk to D Chowk in Islamabad, to pay tributes to popular Kashmiri youth leader, Burhan Muzaffar Wani on his third martyrdom anniversary, today.

The event was organized by APHC-AJK chapter and was attended by a large number of people. AJK Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haidar addressing the participants of the walk paid rich tributes to Burhan Wani and other Kashmiri martyrs. He said Burhan Wani played an important role in highlighting the Kashmir freedom struggle. »

New Delhi, July 08 (KMS): A court of the infamous Indian National Investigation Agency (NIA) in New Delhi once again sent illegally detained Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF), Muhammad Yasin Malik, to judicial custody for another month, today.

Yasin Malik will be again presented before the said court on August 7, 2019. The ailing JKLF chairman was shifted back to Tihar Jail after court hearing. »

Srinagar, July 08 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops, in their continued acts of state terrorism martyred one thousand and twenty (1,020) Kashmiris including seventy (70) in fake encounters since the killing of popular youth leader, Burhan Muzaffar Wani on July 08, 2016.

According to the data issued by the Research Section of Kashmir Media Service, today, the killings rendered ninety one (91) women widowed and two hundred five (205) children orphaned. »

Srinagar, July 08 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, an Indian soldier committed suicide in Jammu city, today.

The soldier shot himself with his service rifle at a camp in Miran Sahib on the outskirts of the city.

The deceased who had joined the Indian Army in December 2017 belonged to Indian state, Andra Pradesh. »
