Srinagar, April 14 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Syed Ali Gilani, has said that India’s policy of suppression and repression has failed to yield any positive results for New Delhi.

Syed Ali Gilani in a statement issued in Srinagar reiterated his call for continuing boycott of the sham Indian parliamentary elections during all next phases in the occupied territory. He said that the participation in any election under India would negate the sacrifices, rendered by the Kashmiri youth for the freedom cause. »

Srinagar, April 14 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, senior APHC leader and President of Anjuman-e-Sharie- Shian Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi Al-Safvi was detained by the Indian Income Tax Department at Srinagar airport, today.

Agha Moosvi was detained by Income Tax department when he arrived at Srinagar airport from New Delhi.

Srinagar, April 14 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference (JKMC), Shabbir Ahmed Dar has paid glowing tributes to martyrs, Shahjehan Ahmed Mir and Abid Hussain Wagey of Shopian.

Indian troops martyred the youth during a cordon and search operation in Gahand area of the district.

Shabbir Ahmed Dar in a statement in Srinagar said their sacrifices are unparalleled which have added golden pages to the ongoing resistance movement. »

Muslims are not terrorists, every Muslim is a Mujahid

Srinagar, April 14 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Deputy Mayor of Srinagar, Sheikh Mohammad Imran, has asked Kashmiri youth to prefix ‘Mujahid’ to their names, saying that every Muslim is a Mujahid.

Imran in a statement said the word ‘Mujahid’ means one who is engaged in jihad and a protector who strikes against evil and advocates truthfulness. “Every Muslim should be ‘mujahid’ and there is no harm in using this prefix. Jihad is a spiritual fight against the enemy. Our religion is being misinterpreted by some sections of (Indian) media,” he said. »

Srinagar, April 14 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Dukhtaran-e-Millat (DeM) has slammed the deliberate attempts by the Indian judiciary to prolong the detention of its party leaders, Aasiya Andrabi, Nahida Nasreen and Fahmida Sufi.

The DeM spokesperson in a statement in Srinagar, said: “The leaders were once again produced before the Indian infamous NIA court on April 11. The NIA has failed to present all the required papers before the court. However, the court is giving renewal dates to fulfill their tactics to prolong their illegal custody and consequently keep them under detention. And now the new date has been set on May 6, 2019.” »

Those who were shifted to the Indian jails include the President of Jamaat-e-Islami, Dr Abdul Hameed Fayaz, the Vice President of Jamiat Ahle Hadith, Mushtaq Ahmed Veeri, Mushtaq Ahmed Hurra, Bashir Ahmed Soliha, Shakeel Ahmed Pandit and Sami Ullah Butt besides other dozens of leaders and activists of political and religious organizations. »

Srinagar, April 13 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, protests erupted in Laser area of Rafiabad in Baramulla district after Indian Army soldiers thrashed two youth for not casting votes in the so-called Indian Parliamentary elections.

Eyewitness said that a large number of people of Laser took to the streets, today, and staged a protest against the Indian Army for thrashing two boys, Bilal Ahmed Rathar and Tariq Ahmed Rather. Both were shifted to a hospital. »

Protesters subjected to brute force, over 20 injured

Srinagar, April 13 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred two Kashmiri youth during a cordon and search operation in Gahand area of Shopian district, today.

The killing of the youth identified as Shahjahan Mir and Abid Hussain Wagay triggered massive demonstrations in the area. Indian police and troops fired pellets and teargas shells to disperse the protesters. Over twenty demonstrators were injured in the brutal actions of the forces’ personnel. The Chairman of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Syed Ali Gilani, in a statement issued in Srinagar, today, paid glowing tributes to the martyred youth. He also denounced the use of brute force on peaceful protesters by Indian troops and police personnel. »
