Srinagar, June 19 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chief Patron of Pairwan-i-Wilayat, Maulana Sibti Shabbir Qummi, has urged India and Pakistan to adopt a positive and realistic approach by holding dialogue to resolve the Kashmir dispute and other bilateral issues.

Maulana Qummi said this during the party’s General Council meeting in Srinagar on Tuesday. He said, Pakistan Prime Minister, Imran Khan, has repeatedly given a clear message to New Delhi that he wants to resolve bilateral disputes through dialogue, but New Delhi has not responded properly to his appeal. »

Srinagar, June 18 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, hundreds of people attended the funeral prayers of a martyred civilian in Achabal area of Islamabad district, today.

Poignant scenes were witnessed, today, when the body of the civilian, Nasir Ahmed, was lifted for the final resting place at Badoora in Achabal area of the district.

Nasir Ahmed’s dead body with bullet marks was found near a house destroyed by the troops during a cordon and search operation in the area, yesterday. Another youth was martyred by the troops during the operation. »

Srinagar, June 18 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, several civilians were injured in a grenade blast in Pulwama, today.

Unidentified persons hurled a grenade towards Pulwama police station which exploded on the roadside. In the explosion, at least eight pedestrians were injured and were immediately evacuated to a nearby hospital for treatment. Among the injured, two critically wounded were referred to Srinagar hospital for specialized treatment. »

Troops brutally beat traffic cop, bus driver

Srinagar, June 18 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred two more Kashmiri youth in Islamabad district, today, raising the toll to four since yesterday.

The youth were killed by the troops during a violent cordon and search operation in Bijbehara area of the district. They were identified as Sajjad Ahmad Butt and Tawseef Ahmad Butt, both residents of Bijbehara. A bullet-riddled body of a final-year student, Nasir Ahmad, was recovered near a house destroyed by Indian troops during an operation in Achabal area of district. Another youth was found dead under mysterious conditions in Khanyar area of Srinagar. The authorities suspended internet services in Islamabad district.

Earlier, two of the 21 Indian soldiers injured in an improvised explosive device attack at Aarihal in Pulwama district, yesterday, succumbed at a military hospital in Srinagar. Eight of the injured soldiers associated with 44 Rashtriya Rifles of Indian Army are in a critical condition. »

Srinagar, June 18 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference Chairman, Shabbir Ahmed Dar, has strongly condemned the summoning of Hurriyat leader, Yasmeen Raja, to New Delhi by India’s National Investigation Agency (NIA) for questioning in a false case registered against her.

Shabbir Ahmed Dar in a statement issued in Srinagar said, the subject matter for interrogation shows the malicious intent and is very clear that it is being done with a purpose to browbeat the resistance leaders and force them to submission. »

Srinagar, June 18 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Awami Action Committee (AAC), headed by Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, will observe its 56th Founding Day on Thursday (20th June) at its headquarters at Mirwaiz Manzil, Rajouri Kadal in Srinagar.

The AAC in a statement issued in Srinagar, today, said that all members of the organization would be present on the occasion. The meeting will once again reiterate the party’s stand for resolution of the Kashmir dispute through tripartite talks among Pakistan, India and people of Jammu and Kashmir in line with the relevant UN resolutions. »

An Indian soldier of 47-Rashtriya Rifles identified as Chhotu Kumar (24) ended his life by shooting himself with his service rifle while on duty at Sadau Ganga in Kandi area of the district. »

Thrashing of bus driver triggers anti-India protests in Shopian

Srinagar, June 18 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops ruthlessly beat up a traffic police officer in Srinagar city, today.

The traffic police officer Mudassir Ahmed was injured after he was subjected to inhuman torture by the troops near Nowgam Chowk in outskirts of the city. He was rushed to hospital for treatment.
