Srinagar, June 16 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, calling the warm hospitality of the people of Kashmir a globally acknowledged fact, the Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) in the backdrop of Amarnath Yatra said that Kashmiri people would continue to retain and nourish this tradition as also the tradition of brotherhood communal amity.

The JRL in a joint statement issued in Srinagar said Kashmiri people never compromised on their tradition of hospitality, even in the toughest and trying times, and always played a friendly host, whether to a tourist or an Amarnath pilgrim who came to Kashmir. »

Srinagar, June 16 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Muslim Khawateen Markaz (MKM) has said that India’s National Investigation Agency (NIA) has summoned party Chairperson Yasmeen Raja to its New Delhi office, tomorrow.

A MKM spokesperson in a statement Issued in Srinagar said that the summons was delivered to her through Pampore Police Station. She was directed to appear before the NIA headquarters in New Delhi on Monday at 10:30 am. »

New Delhi, June 16 (KMS): The National Investigating Agency (NIA), being used by Indian to harass and intimidate Hurriyat leadership, on Sunday implicitly acknowledged that the constitution of Joint Resistance Leadership was the real ‘crime of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front, Chairman, Muhammad Yasin Malik.

NIA in a press statement in New Delhi said that Yasin Malik was instrumental in bringing the All Parties Hurriyat Conference Chairman Syed Ali Gilani and Hurriyat forum Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq together to spearhead the 2016 uprising in occupied Kashmir. »

Srinagar, June 16 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, General Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir Muslim League (JKML), Mohammad Rafiq Ganie was arrested by Special Operation Group (SOG) of police from Magam area of Tangmarg in north Kashmir.

Rafiq Ganaie was arrested from his in-laws house last night on the charge of leading funerals of the Kashmiri martyred youth. A police officer said, “He had led funeral prayers of large number of militants in recent past. He was also instigating people through his speeches.” »

Srinagar, June 16 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir National Front has expressed concern over the inhuman treatment meted out to the illegally detained Kashmiri Hurriyat leaders and activists languishing in different jails.

The JKNF spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said the harassment and inhuman treatment to the detainees belonging to Kashmir valley should be stopped forthwith.

Shutdown in Pulwama areas against killing of youth

Srinagar, June 15 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Syed Ali Gilani, has strongly condemned the arrest of Hurriyat Chief Spokesman, Ghulam Ahmed Gulzar, by Indian police in Srinagar, today.

The policemen from Srinagar’s Sher Garhi Police Station arrested Ghulam Ahmed Gulzar from his residence, this morning.

Syed Ali Gilani in a statement in Srinagar terming the arrest of the APHC Chief Spokesman as unlawful and unjustified said that political space was being denied to Hurriyat leadership by creating a situation of uncertainty and political turbulence in the territory. He said, by pushing people to the wall India will achieve nothing and it should face the Kashmiri political leaders and workers on political turf. »
