Srinagar, June 15 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, complete shutdown is being observed in Pampore, Awantipora and other areas of southern Kashmir’s Pulwama district, today, to mourn the killing of two youth by Indian troops.

The youth identified as Tasaaduq Amin Shah, a resident of Kadlibal, Pampore, and Irfan Ahmed Dijoo of Naina Litter area of Pulwama were martyred by the troops during a cordon and search operation in Braw Bandina area of Awantipora, yesterday. »

Srinagar, June 15 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of Karwan-e-Islami, Maulana Ghulam Rasool Hami, has said that unresolved Kashmir dispute is a threat to regional peace.

Mir Shahid Saleem apprised Syed Ali Gilani of the latest socio-political scenario prevailing across the Jammu region. He told the APHC Chairman that the Muslims of Jammu were living in an environment of harassment and intimidation as members of Hindu extremist organisations like Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and Bajrang Dal were enjoying the complete support and patronage of the state machinery. »

The police personnel of Sher Garhi Police Station, Srinagar, arrested Ghulam Ahmed Gulzar from his residence in Srinagar on Saturday morning.

Srinagar, June 15 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Muslim League (JKML) has slammed a Delhi court for sending illegally detained party Chairman, Masarrat Aalam Butt, to judicial custody till 12th July.

The JKML spokesman, Sajad Ayoubi, in a statement issued in Srinagar said that Delhi’s Patiala court on Friday sent resistance leaders, Masarrat Aalam Butt, Shabbir Ahmed Shah and Aasiya Andrabi to judicial custody till July 12 in a fake case. »

Indian troops martyr two Kashmiri youth in Pulwama

Srinagar, June 14 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Syed Ali Gilani, has said that Kashmir dispute is an unfinished agenda of the partition of Indian subcontinent in 1947 and none of the three basic parties to the dispute, India, Pakistan and the people of Kashmir is in a position to avoid any untoward consequences of this visible danger in South Asia.

Syed Ali Gilani chairing a meeting of APHC’s Executive Council at Hyderpora in Srinagar expressed dismay over India’s repressive policies to suppress the Kashmiris’ voice for right to self-determination. He reiterated the APHC’s stand for settling the Kashmir dispute through a meaningful dialogue but deplored that India’s stubbornness had remained a stumbling block to go ahead in this direction. He demanded setting up of a war crimes tribunal to investigate the grave human rights violations perpetrated by Indian troops in occupied Kashmir. »

Srinagar, June 14 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, prominent civil society group, Kashmir Center for Social and Development Studies (KCSDS), has said that delimitation of constituencies the so-called assembly is the new agenda floated by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and its drooling blind followers.

A KCSDS spokesperson in a statement issue in Srinagar warned the Indian authorities against any such misadventure as it is goaded on to act by them against all principles of justice in democracy. »

Srinagar, June 14 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the authorities have ordered launching of prosecution against the All Parties Hurriyat Conference Chairman, Syed Ali Gilani, along with ten other persons in a false case registered against them in 2009.

The order issued by the home department of the territory headed by Governor’s Advisor, K Vijay Kumar, claimed that the case was a fit one for accord of prosecution sanction against them for commission of offences punishable. »
