New Delhi, March 19 (KMS): In utter manifestation of discrimination against occupied Jammu and Kashmir, all recommendations from the territory, four of them made by even Governor NN Vohra, didn’t find a place in this year’s Padma awards, one of the highest civilian honors of India announced annually on the eve of Republic Day. Padma awards will be conferred on March 20 and April 2.

Puppet administration of occupied Kashmir had recommended nine names, four of them by even Governor Vohra, and all of them were rejected by a high-level 10-member Selection Committee, constituted by the Indian government. »

Urges Modi to accept Pakistan as neighbor

Fascist ideology of RSS denounced

Srinagar, March 18 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian occupational forces continue the use of Israel-made chemical substance to destroy houses and burn bodies of Kashmiri youth during cordon and search operations in the Valley.

The troops freshly used highly inflammable chemical compound RD 2PNG to destroy four houses in Balhama area of Khonmoh on the outskirts of Srinagar, on Thursday. One of the three bodies, recovered from the debris of a house a day after the operation, was burnt beyond recognition by the use of the same chemical substance. Such chemical was also used on 22nd of June, 2017 at Kakpora, 14th of October, 2017 at Litter and on 3rd of July, 2017 at Bahmnoo in Pulwama district. Around half a dozen charred bodies of Kashmiri youth including a PhD scholar, Nisar Ahmad, were recovered from the debris of the houses, destroyed by the troops with the chemical substance. »

Srinagar, March 18 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the residents of Chakoora area of Pulwama district said that an elderly woman died during a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) by Indian troops in the area.

A resident of the Chakoora village told media men in Srinagar that the woman died during the siege Khanpora area. He said the forces used teargas shells on peaceful demonstrators. »

New Delhi, March 18 (KMS): Indian Human Rights Commission has sought the intervention by the United Nations Military Observer Group (UNMOG) to stop ceasefire violations along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir.

The Commission, while disposing of the case filed by Centre for Peace and Protection of Human Rights (CPPHR), asked for taking appropriate action within eight weeks in connection with the case. »

The Chairman of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Syed Ali Gilani in a statement in Srinagar said that Bhagwat’s remarks that “Kashmiris should be dealt with force as they only understand the language of power” showed how the affairs of J&K were run by such intolerant persons. “The remarks reflect the policy of Indian leadership vis-à-vis Kashmiri people. It shows their arrogant approach,” the statement said. »
