Srinagar, March 04 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Joint Resistance Leadership comprising Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik has condemned the shifting of illegally detained Hurriyat leaders, Muhammad Qasim Fakhtoo and Mohammad Shafi Shariati from Srinagar Central Jail to jails in Jammu terming it as manifestation of blatant vengeance.

The leadership in a joint statement issued in Srinagar, today, said that the puppet authorities were shifting political prisoners outside the jails of the Kashmir valley to appease their masters in New Delhi. »

New York, March 04 (KMS): Former senior advisor to the United Nations Secretary General, Ambassador Yusuf Buch, has elucidated that if there had been popular support in Kashmir for joining India, the dispute over Kashmir would have lasted for a year or so at the most. It would have dissolved long ago.

Ambassador Buch said this at a meeting at his residence in New York with Dr. Ghulam Nabi Fai, Secretary General, Washington-based World Kashmir Awareness Forum.

“The situation in Kashmir has nothing to do with passivity or docility in the Kashmiri character – that myth has been shattered now. Kashmiris hardly showed themselves as resigned to Indian occupation. Some discontent notwithstanding, Kashmir never felt itself to be part of India before 1947 and feels even less so after its forcible seizure by the Indian troops. »

Srinagar, March 04 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, illegally detained Hurriyat leaders, Muhammad Qasim Fakhtoo and Mohammad Shafi Shariati were shifted from Srinagar Central Jail to jails in Jammu.

Muhammad Qasim Fakhtoo, the president of Muslim Deeni Mahaz, was shifted to District Jail, Udhampur while Mohammad Shafi Shariati to sub-jail, Hiranagar in Kathua district. »

Srinagar, March 04 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Employees Joint Consultative Committee (EJCC), an amalgam of various trade and employee associations have announced to launch agitation in case puppet administration fails to deliver justice to Kathua rape and murder victim girl, Aasifa.

The EJCC spokesperson, Aijaz Ahmad Khan addressing a press conference in Srinagar, said that the brutal and heinous crime had shocked and shaken the conscious of every human being. »

Srinagar, March 04 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Human Rights Commission (HRC) came down heavily on police for failing to complete investigations into the custodial killing of Abdul Hamid Ganai despite the passage of 15 years.

The Commission directed the Superintendent of Police of Ganderbal to remain present before it on April 2. The Assistant Superintendent of Police, who was present before the Commission, couldn’t explain the report filed by Senior Superintendent of Police of Ganderbal. »

Srinagar, March 04 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, three people, including an elderly man, were arrested in Hajin area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district during nocturnal raids by Indian forces.

Those arrested were identified as Mohammad Umar Dar, Gowhar Ahmad Parray and Sonaullah Butt (75).

The forces conducted arrests in reaction to protests that followed after the killing of two youth in Hajin last week. The family members of Butt said they were surprised over his arrest. “He suffers from a couple of ailments, and remains usually ill. He was detained unnecessarily,” said Mohammad Afzal, his son.

Police official from Hajin police station feigned ignorance about the arrests.

Jammu, March 04 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, PDP puppet minister Altaf Bukhari has said his party would end the alliance with the BJP if it fails to deliver justice in the rape and murder of an eight-year-old girl, Aasifa, of Jammu’s Kathua district.

Bukhari’s remarks came on the day the opposition launched a scathing attack on the puppet Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti and her government over participation of two BJP ministers in a programme of the Hindu EktaManch, a Hindu umbrella organization defending main rapist and murderer Special Police Officer, Deepak Khujuria. »

Srinagar, March 04 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) Chairman, Syed Ali Gilani has criticized the puppet Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti for her criminal silence over rape and murder of an eight-year-old girl, Asifa from Kathua district.

Syed Ali Gilani in a statement issued in Srinagar said efforts by the puppet administration to shield and to give cover to the real culprits is the biggest irony. “We have no doubt that so-called alliance is being run from Nagpur,” he said while referring to Rashtriya Swayam Sevak Sangh.

Lamenting the puppet administration’s inaction, he said despite restrictions on public rallies, the pro-criminal rally was organized which clearly illustrates that lawlessness in the territory is at its peak. »

Srinagar, March 04 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the doctor who, as per police claim, had conducted the autopsy of Junaid Khuroo, a 10th standard student, killed by Indian police in 2011, confessed before the Human Rights Commission (HRC) that he did not conduct the postmortem of the body.

Amir Khuroo, brother of Junaid told media in Srinagar that Dr Fida Hussain stated before the commission that he had gone to the police camp but didn’t conduct the postmortem. He said he had just examined the body and didn’t sign the postmortem report, somebody signed it there. »
