Srinagar, July 20 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the High Court has directed the puppet administration to file compliance on shifting of senior APHC leader and the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Muslim League, Masarrat Aalam Butt from Kot Bhalwal jail in Jammu to the Kashmir Valley.

The court directed the authorities to file compliance report in light of its earlier directions within two weeks. “The authorities shall be at liberty to file the counter affidavit within the same period,” the court added. »

New Delhi, July 20 (KMS): The Socialist Party of India has said that Modi Government’s Hindu aggressive policy on Kashmir is the main reason for the present volatile situation in occupied Kashmir.

Socialist Party President, Dr Prem Singh, in an interview in New Delhi also blamed RSS and pro-BJP media for spreading hatred against Kashmiri people inside India. »

Srinagar, July 20 (KMS): A Kashmiri garment trader’s shop was forcibly shut down in Indian city of Mussoorie after an alleged post praising the Pakistan Army was found on his Facebook page.

Manzoor Ahmad, 59, a resident of Hamhama in Budgam district, is among the five oldest trader families in Mussoorie. His shop has been selling garments since 1971. »

Srinagar, July 20 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the General Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (DFP), Muhammad Abdullah Tari has stressed the need for settlement of the Kashmir dispute through implementation of the relevant UN resolutions.

Muhammad Abdullah Tari in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the Kashmir dispute was the main cause of strained relations between Pakistan and India. He said India’s stubbornness was the reason for prevailing political uncertainty and continued bloodshed in Kashmir. »

Srinagar, July 20 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Ummat-e-Islami has strongly condemned the continued illegal detention of party chairman Qazi Yasir, lodged at Islamabad police station, and demanded the immediate release of Yasir and all other political detainees languishing in different jails.

The Ummat-e-Islami spokesman in a statement issued in Islamabad also expressed serious concern over the killing of 60-year-old, Mohammad Abdullah Ganai, minor girl student Aroofa Farooq, Mukhtar Ahmad Lone, Parvaiz Ahmad Mir and Rayees Ahmad Butt . »

Srinagar, July 19 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, complete shutdown was observed in Islamabad district, today, against the killing of three youth and an elderly man by Indian troops in Nowgam and Arwani areas.

Three youth Muzaffar Hajam, Showkat Lohar and Naseer Ahmed were killed after police and army opened fire on their car at Nowgam. The 60-year-old man, Mohammad Abdullah Ganai was injured in firing by Indian troops at Arwani and succumbed to his injuries, last night. He was injured after troops opened fire on people who had come to rescue a motorcyclist being thrashed by soldiers in the area. All business establishments were closed and traffic was of the road in Arwani, Bijbehara, Kokernag and other areas of the district. Mobile and Internet services remained suspended. »

Srinagar, July 19 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of Hurriyat forum, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, has expressed serious concern over the escalation of tension between India and Pakistan on the Line of Control in Kashmir and has asked the leadership of both countries to desist from military adventurism.

Mirwaiz Umar Farooq in a statement issued in Srinagar, today, said the consequences of tension between the two neighboring countries are directly borne by the people of Kashmir on both sides of the Line of Control. He urged New Delhi and Islamabad to put an end to the raging conflict in the region by addressing the 70 year-old Kashmir dispute. »
