Srinagar, July 15 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the puppet administration in response to a query sought under Right to Information Act (RTI) has revealed that it has maintained no records of those people who were wounded or lost eye-sight during 2016 mass uprising in the territory.

A local English daily, Kashmir Monitor, in a report said that in fact the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar, has not bothered to reveal any information relating to wounded persons, killings, enquiry and compensation. »

Srinagar, July 15 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, terming the police and civil administration of turning into over-ground workers of Sangh Parivar and other anti-Kashmir forces, member of the so-celled Kashmir Assembly, Engineer Abdur Rasheed, has condemned the puppet administration for disallowing Friday prayers at Srinagar’s historic Jamia Masjid.

Engineer Abdur Rasheed in a statement issued in Srinagar said that it was strange that the puppet regime was doing everything to facilitate Amarnath Yatra and ensure safe journey of the yatris but the local people were being deprived of their religious rights. He said that it was shameful that the puppet authorities could not ensure congregational Friday prayers which hardly take an hour to complete. »

Srinagar, July 15 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, complete shutdown is being observed in Nowhatta area of Srinagar, today, against the killing of a local youth, Sajjad Ahmad Gilkar, by Indian troops.

Sajjad and two other youth were killed by Indian troops in Radbugh area of Budgam district on Wednesday.

All shops and other business establishments are closed while traffic is off the road in the area. »

Srinagar, July 15 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir (TeH) has expressed serious concern over the deteriorating health of illegally detained elderly Hurriyat activist, Haji Muhammad Rustam Butt, at Kathua Jail in Jammu.

The TeH spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the puppet authorities had arrested Muhammad Rustam Butt during mass uprising in 2016 and later booked him under black law, Public Safety Act. He said that the authorities were not releasing the detainee despite the fact that he was suffering from various ailments. »

Mumbai, July 15 (KMS): Extremist Hindu organization, Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP), has announced to send over 10,000 VHP and Bajrang Dal activists to occupied Kashmir to boost the morale of Indian Army.

The announcement was made by the VHP leader, Shankarrao Gaikar, at a press conference in Mumbai. He said that over 10,000 VHP and Bajarang Dal activists would soon gather in the Kashmir Valley to boost the morale of Indian soldiers. »

Srinagar, July 15 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian police have arrested 12 minors including a Hurriyat leader’s son in Islamabad town.

The police took into custody 11 minors and 12-year-old Reyyan Mukhtar, the son of Hurriyat leader Mukhtar Ahmed Waza, during anti-India demonstrations in the town.

Meanwhile, complete shutdown is being observed in the town against the desecration of Jamia Masjid and the arrest of dozens of boys by Indian forces. »

Srinagar, July 14 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference has strongly denounced the unrelenting restrictions on the movement of its Chairman, Syed Ali Gilani, who completed seven years under continued house arrest, today.

The APHC in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the puppet authorities had confined Syed Ali Gilani to his residence on gunpoint since 2010 and never produced any written order or court ruling regarding his house arrest.

Srinagar July 14 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, APHC General Secretary and the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party, Shabbir Ahmad Shah, has termed the statement of India’s External Affairs Minister, Sushma Swaraj on Kashmir as arrogant.

Shabbir Ahmad Shah in a statement issued in Srinagar said, on one hand New Delhi talks about dialogue with Pakistan and on the other is repeating the rhetoric on the disputed status of Kashmir. “If Sushma Swaraj terms Kashmir as integral part of India, then why New Delhi is going to talk with Islamabad. And if Kashmir is a disputed territory, then why is India scared of taking all the stakeholders on dialogue table,” he added. »
