Srinagar, August 05 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) has strongly condemned the continued house arrest of its Chairman, Syed Ali Gilani, and barring him from offering Juma prayers by the puppet authorities.

The APHC spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said the continued house detention of Syed Ali Gilani, illustrates frustration of the authorities. All movements of 88-year-old Syed Ali Gilani are restricted and he is confined to his residence, he deplored. »

The JI spokesman, Advocate Zahid Ali, and Kulgam Amir-e-Tehsil, Kulgam head, Farooq Ahmad Sheikh, were arrested on Friday evening in Gopalpora area of the district and were taken to Kulgam police station. »

Srinagar, August 05 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the joint resistance leadership comprising Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik has said that Hurriyat leaders arrested by India’s National Investigating Agency are being subjected to mental torture in New Delhi.

The resistance leaders in a joint statement issued in Srinagar called it a ploy and deceit played by New Delhi. “They (Indian authorities) have deployed NIA sleuths to harass the leaders. Fictitious cases are being filed against them. It is a well-thought-out plan and ploy to defame movement and harass leadership,” they said. »

Srinagar, August 05 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops, in their fresh act of state terrorism, martyred three Kashmiri youth in Sopore area of Baramulla district in north Kashmir, today.

The troops killed the youth during a siege and search operation at Amargarh in Sopore. Two of the martyred have been identified as Javaid Ahmad Dar and Abid Hamid Mir. The troops also damaged a residential house in the area. The operation continued till reports last came in. Earlier, an Indian soldier and a policeman were injured in an attack in the same area. »
